Learned of Jackson with Dr. My Eyes. Was hooked. Didn't see him live until the Running on Empty Tour, but by then, I owned and lived by his previous 4 albums. He got me through high school. Own probably 10/12 JB albums. He's an icon.
i saw jackson browne my senior of high school 1974 in phila at the tower, two shows!!!! it was a wonderful year of music and exploration, from dylan to the dead, to the stones! my life was just begining to bloom! song for adam is a gem!!! peace and love to all of you!
i saw him at his first "big" appearance. He opened in L.A. for Joni...he made guitar mistakes, said "excuse me,let me start over." Nevertheless, he was remarkable...sincere and revealing songs. I became a lifelong fan. I think there's been no one like him, Joni, and Neil...who revealed their innermost selves...and they didn't make themselves the heroes...honesty.
Once again Holy Cow, thanks and thanks again. One can see how Jackson was developing his voice over time. Great voice. Ethan is now 50, the same age as one of my children and as his sole parent , it seems he had a great upbringing and a great bond with his father Jackson. I haven’t listened to all of it , but so far this is seems to be the his rendition of “Take It Easy “ that I have ever heard. There was another from a Kentucky mandolin player which was great . Right now can’t remember his name, but famous.
@@soupadai.75 It would be easy to think Ricky but I was thinking Sam Bush , I think from Bowling Green , KY. One of the most hard working musicians you could ever know , often on PBS during his best of times . Played with the best , often impromptu to be with the best including Jackson Browne . Although it may have looked kind of silly , the performance with Jackson was one of the best for everyone involved. It is all on YT. I’ll try to send you the link tomorrow . Sam Bush with Jackson Browne.
Saw jom first in 1986. In late October he came back to Essen and die Crow on the cradle and I'm a Patriot acoustic and only with hom on guitar at the end of the Show. I liked it so much and I still Do. Saw him in 1993 in Hamburg again and 10 years later solo in Berlin. Also in Hamburg 2 Shows with the fantastic David Lindley in 2006 and 2010. Unbelievable! And Jackson is still one of the very best songwriters and singers around. Hope to see him again sometime.
I saw Jackson Browne one time- The MAIN POINT BENEFIT at the Tower Theater Upper Darby, Pa. 1976. The Main Point originally was a college town coffee bar / folk club on Lancaster, ave , Bryn Mawr Pa., on the "Main Line'" just west of Philadelphia. Jackson played there many times. Also at the Main Point Benefit: Tom Waits Melanie Joni Mitchel David Bromberg Livingston Taylor Bonnie Raitt and a few more singer songwriters of the day. Sadly the Main Point was opposed by the town of Bryn Mawr. The Main Point location for the next 35 years after became Mapes 5 & 10 !! Thanks Jackson, it was a great cause! 24:45

Wow! This is awesome era of JB’s start to singer/songwriter, rock and roll hall of fame.
Thanks for posting this !!! Fantastic show !!!! What a band !!!!
I was at this show. Hitchhiked with no fear and had a fabulous time. Jackson is the ultimate storyteller of a generation!
This is incredible, JB talking about the “Watergate Tapes” and the “end of the war in S.E. Asia”. Rock on Jackson!
'Jamaica Say You Will' is one of the greatest songs ever written
Incredible ❤❤❤
For everyman. One of the most beautiful selfless songs. Great recording! Thanks❤

Grew up in Hempstead by the old Ludlum School on Cedar street. Was there with my friends. 17 years old.

Crystal clear clarity as if. still in 1975 not 2024. Thank you. Timeless message from wordsmiths and true musicians.
I can never get enough listening to David Lindley on fiddle. He and Jackson are perfection!😊
