Cassie are you using Sunscreen? I cant remember ever seeing one in your empties. Please make sure you are, especially when you're using Differin, its a form of Vitamin A, AKA retinol.

That is excellent advice! I always did my best to stay out of the direct sun when it was strong, and to use SPF all over, but it only takes a short period of time to damage your skin. I also recommend driving gloves. I had to habe surgery on a suspicious lump on my left hand, and it wasn't cancer, but easily could habe been. Some of my friends have had skin cancer in their 40s from not using SPF. I guess the gloves, hats and sun umbrellas from past eras made more sense than just fashion.
YES! I just turned 37 and have been living over 10 years in Australia and my skin has so much sun damage! The sun in Oz especially is NO JOKE

Agree. Your 40+ year old self will thank you if you get in the habit of using sunscreen on your face, neck, chest and back of hands daily!! I use mineral sunscreen (no breakouts) instead of primer.
Cassie, I see you went through a bottle of scented body lotion and that you have acne on your body (though I understand that's exacerbated by the picking.) Have you considered buying scent-free body lotion? It may not be as much fun but you may find that a lot of it clears up with really mild and scent-free cleansers and lotions.

Hey Cassie! I also use Differin for arm bumps, but also on my face as an Anti aging treatment (.3). It makes your skin so soft and smooth, and I'm also able to use retinol with it without irritation. It's also amazing for acne and helps keep it from coming back. I love and have both lip masks. I use the Agave first, then top it with a thick layer of LANEIGE. As for lip serums, the one that actually works on really plumping (with hydration and antioxidants) for me is the Elizabeth Grant Collagen Reinforce 3D Wrinkle & Lift Lip Serum. It helps redefine the vermilion border for those of us with lines that run outside the lips, and is hands down the most effective treatment I've tried at any price. I'm in Canada, so I always stock up when they're on sale for around $25 CAD. I use it after my scrub and before my plumping treatment (Grande Lips) and masks.

Silicone is NOT the devil. Yes, it coats the hair, making it smooth and sealing in moisture. Let us all remember that hair is dead, therefore it doesn't need to breathe. It can be shampooed out (some people claim it can't) with a non-sulfate shampoo that has a coconut oil based surfacant ( begin with "coco" in the name:-)). My friends with fine, curly hair are divided with one saying it weighs the hair down, the other loves silicones because brushing her "curly locks" is a nightmare.
I have fine curly hair. Tried going silicone free for a year and hated how my hair was. My hair definitely likes at least *some* silicone - especially amodimethicone, which is a little more selectively binding to hair 😊
CheshyreKitten I have fine curly hair too. If you don’t mind me asking, what product do you use? Looking to pick up a product since my hair is not loving silicon free.
@@dodyboggs yeah! So I chopped my hair to about shoulder length, and my hair is fine with fewer silicones, so right now I'm using a shampoo/conditioner formulated for me through Prose. The conditioner has some lighter water soluble silicones, and my hair is fine with that as the only product that contains them.
When my hair was longer it was rougher, a more open cuticle, and it really liked a leave in with silicones - I liked the Ouai leave in, though it is intensely fragranced.
Ouai also makes some nice conditioners - amodimethicone is the main silicone, which selectively binds to areas of hair that are more damaged while repelling itself to help prevent build up. For some reason it's difficult to find a condition with that silicone, but no dimethicone.
I do remember my hair particularly liking the sheamoisture coconut hibiscus shampoo and hair milk. I think I used a regular conditioner, like one from OGX, and then a volumizing foam or gel, something with really intense hold that I could scrunch out the crunch.
Long winded, but I hope that helped some xD application method matters a lot, too.
You should try using just plain vaseline/petroleum jelly for your face. A dermatologist told me that the antibiotics in neosporin are abysmal and can actually cause wounds to heal slower. I dunno, something to look into.
Yes when i got a mole removed and stitches put in my hand they told me to keep Vaseline on it I guess it heals faster
@@britnysnyder4991 not so much that it helps heals faster it just keeps bacteria out & protects it. The fastest way to heal a wound is to keep it dry & give it air but, when it's so open it's too vulnerable & susceptible to germs. Once it scabs over you should keep it dry. (As far as I know from what a dermatologist has said)
I really just don't know who or what to believe anymore. Each dermatologist and study and research say different things. I say just experiment until you find what works best for you
💜🦄 hi Cassie! My dermatologist gave me the best tip ever for my skin: good old, trusty Stridex pads twice a day! It's definitely *not* limited to acne. It's got amazing exfoliating properties and she promised that I'd love the clear skin results. My derm was right and my wallet's happy too (Stridex is $4-ish) 🦋

My small advise: give me one or two seconds more to read the products. You hold it half a second in the camera, and than the product is shifting in your hand. Don't know if this is is my problem only. Maybe I'm too old and too slow? 🤗🤗
Please dont use drunk elephant they do a lot of shady stuff and they are so overpriced. Look into korean BHA AHA they are waaayy cheaper and better.

Right?! I was so baffled when she said that! Unless you have an allergy or are sensitive to it there's absolutely nothing wrong with it! The parabens & preservatives scare is also another myth that irks me 😟 do your own research & talk/listen to professionals not randompeopledotnet

You know what an amazing facial oil is if you cannot stand oil on your face? Loreal glow renewal oil. It’s a dry oil that immediately absorbs into the skin and gives this beautiful glow while giving hydration without being greasy. It’s definitely a hidden gem, and I’m sure Loreal sells it in one of their high end or luxury brands somewhere. It’s that amazing.
I’d also swap out any lip treatment and that Neosporin with Dr PawPaw in the original formula. It’s amazing on chaffed, dry skin and lips.

Please, consider using a cleansing balm or oil (k beauty), this way you can reduce the amount of waste that you are producing and just the overall amount of products. Cleansing balm is a very good insvestment. Don`t be scared that you will break out, for the most part this type of product doesn`t cause any blemishes and pimples. On top of that you will be 100 % sure that you have zero make up left on your face.

Cassie! I'm so excited to tell you - I just found the Covergirl outlast active foundation here in Australia and I snapped it up!
I thought i loved the Bite lip mask, but quickly learned that I was allergic to it! I had the 3 pack holiday edition that included 1 original, 1 peppermint and one maple scent / flavor. I love the taste and smell of them, but my lips HATED them! My lips would swell, get dried out and be sore for days after I used them so I had to discontinue...really a bummer because I loved the slight tint they provided along with the delicious scent / taste.

My lips are the worst, they are so chapped and I feel like I have tried everything. Ive tried drugstore products as well as high end but nothing is helping. I exfoliate then put on either a moisturizer for the lips or Aragon oil or coconut .What have you used that has worked or you ? Please help!!!!

I use the farmacy honey aha serum and if I don’t use it for a couple nights I can tell on my skin. It really helps with acne can’t live without it I may try the drunk elephant one when the farmacy is gone ❤️

The bright light, I take it it's natural light from the window and not your ring light, takes away the realness you always showed us of your skin texture. It's a bit too bright, if you know what I mean.

Watching this instead of packing 😂 I LOVE Drunk Elephant, I use their oil balm then their jelly cleanser on my foreo or use a purity cleanser on the foreo, in the evening followed by the TLC and The Ordinary's Marula Oil cos money 🙄 in the morning I use Tatcha's deep polish plus the Drunk Elephant Vitamin C and either The Water Cream from Tatcha or a body shop seaweed moisturiser. Only things that control my combo/oily skin especially since moving to a humid environment. I have cut back on unnecessary (want) makeup purchases and been taking that money for skincare
i used drunk elephant and tatcha for over a year and realized i was paying more for the packaging and extra ingredients, not to mention both were breaking me out. i started using the ordinary a couple of months ago and have noticed drastic results with my skin texture. the lactic acid, salicylic acid, and aha/bha peeling mask got rid of closed comedones on my chin and forehead. drunk elephant and tatcha were way too heavy on my skin, but i did like feeling more lavish using them lol.

I have dry skin, like lots of patchy, flaky dry spots and when I wash my face, get the flakes off and then use a face cream, it just burns! Does someone know of a brand that will not burn me and will not just dry down and leave me looking flaky still.....please help 😫 I'm also looking for a good face wash\exfoliate for my really dry skin. I've wasted SO much money over the years just trying to find a cream that will actually moisturize my face and same with face washes. Thanks!
The Ordinary lactic acid serum has been life changing for me. I used to use the drunk elephant stuff, but switched over a few months ago and I absolutely Love it. I will never go back to drunk elephant.
@@jxc3527 I got it for same style of stuff, dullness and signs of aging. My skin is for the most part oily, but has dry areas that can get pretty flakey and sensitive. So far I've had no problems with it and its helped me ween off my face scrub I felt dependent on.
I was using the drunk elephant for about 4 months and I didn't feel like it was doing anything.

Yay! I love empties videos! The Garnier miceller water is also a tried and true product of mine. Also really love the Bite lip masks, as well as the Laneige lip masks. So good!
I use cureology and I still use so much more for my skin care routine. Also, I have seen many people that either add products or just use the personalized lotion. So, you just do what works for you and what you enjoy by otherwise if we didn’t enjoy it we wouldn’t do it

Marula oil is a carrier oil. It helps the other oils and serums absorb into the skin. I use it with my niacinimide serum and wow my skin is looking bright.
