Part of this makes me glad for a career highlight. I was the original chief design engineer & co-inventor of the single-sample DNA Sequencer that helped exonerate wrongfully convicted people. I knew then, 22 years ago, that this device was going to do a lot to help people find the truth. That DNA Sequencer was the worldwide standard from the start, and is still being used for forensic science. More than anything, I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to work with other engineers & scientists to help create something else for which science should be revered. Personal testimony & belief are no match for testable reality to which science is committed, in any realm of inquiry.

The reason why religions always have 'eyewitness-memory' to back them up, instead of hard evidence.
I wonder if people who are more responsive to placebo effect, for instance aren't also more prone to false memories?
It is a pity that Rolf Harris's barrister didn't chose to show this video as evidence.
