Lester, I know that your dad is generally not big on giving you praise for the incredible things you do, but he can't stop talking about how incredibly beautiful a job you did at LHL and when you built the cattle bridge in your driveway there when the flash flood washed it away. He may not say it to your face, but he's said it to us many, many times. Can't wait to he goes to J&L Ranch after all your projects are completed. He is incredibly proud of everything you've accomplished. As are all of your followers.
Lester I have been wondering what you will do with the acres you bought from Joanne. Whenever it might flood, you'd have to bring whatever animals graze there up to the Sanctuary. I can only guess cows. Couldn't build a home or barn there with the flooding that happens. I am sure you will figure it out. And yes PawPaw said you are by far the best fence builder on Morrow hill!!!!
I agree, Lester. He is very proud of you and your siblings. He’s not particular about which one he praises, and he praises all of you the same. The only word I would change from TheTiggerpoo1 is we are all family, not just followers. Because we love you and I, for one, have your back. Any place, any time. Prayers for moving Tex, if you decide to try. ♥️🙏♥️
Lester, I was watching a PawPaw video the other day and your dad raved about your fence building skills. He stated you are the best and most precise fence builder on Morrow Hill. He is very proud of you.
I was just watching the dogs and thinking about how their lives have changed since you and Jami took them in. Especially Chrissy and Stella here. I highly doubt that anyone would have gone all out like you two did for Stella. They would never have looked at her beautiful soul. Chrissy and her puppies would have had a very hard life. I watch them all now and they are living their best life, so safe and happy. All I can say is thank you and may God bless you all.
I know, eh!? Stella & Christmas seem to be joined at the hip..Stella follows Chrissy everywhere. Stella is so glistening & shiny..living her BESTEST Life ✨🖤✨
Thank you, Lester 🥰 If indeed LE and Megan don't want large animals for the time being, could Jake use it for a few years, as he already has a gate from his pasture into yours 🤔 It would give him extra grazing for his 2 giant galoots and the rest of the herd, and keep the back 25 acres from growing back to thick woods again for you, which in turn would give you more time to spend on the J❤L ranch and Longhorn Lester's 😘 Have a lovely, relaxing evening, Lester 🥰🥰
Looking at Stella, what a change in her. She was so ill looking and now she’s healthy. Do you remember the animals responses to Stella when she met them? They disliked her, all of them did but your love for her was what she needed and you and a great relationship between you two was born. I know you asked for opinions on what to do with the back pasture and I would rather let others give that opinion. Hell! I don’t know what to do with my backyard let alone 25 acres. 😂
The way Trixie finds any water, no matter where you are... She's the first one to jump in any pond, any water trough... She reminds me so much of her mama Maggie 🥰
Lester all your properties are beautiful and becoming beautiful. But ISS is just magical in its beauty. ISS has something that the other properties currently don't have and that is family history!!! " If these fields/pastures could talk." Just imagine the stories that they would tell!! Thank goodness we have Pawpaw as he is the next best story teller!!! I hope Morrow Hill leaves an imprint on all the next generations!!! Maybe Jake & Lyssa would have an interest in the back area?? Or even Bri if she gets into horse rescue! They all love the bigs!!!❤❤❤
Lester. I don’t know if you have been told lately but I am so very blessed that you share your beautiful properties with us. I have seen so many changes over the years and I forget sometimes just how far you have come. I can’t wait to see all the new exciting things to come this year. I am here with through the good, bad, ugly, but most of to see all the babies. I am so glad we are friends. Hugs from Halifax Nova Scotia Canada ❤️🇨🇦❤️
Lester; your Dad was saying that you are the BEST fence builder he’s ever seen. We know that to be true yet it was nice to hear him bragging on one of your accomplishments.
I saw some milkweed growing in the back previously. It would be nice to see all the monarch butterflies transition in some sort of area back there. I like the idea of Gary having his own herd in the back.
I'd also love to see them scatter some native milkweed seeds & build up an area for monarch butterflies. It would be nice if Jamie set aside a wild area at Longhorn Lester's to plant milkweed seeds & other pollinator plants.

Just thinking about how different Stella & Christmas's lives are now, compared to all their past days of starvation & struggles. Now they have 3 diff properties to explore w/ their loving human daddy, plenty of food where the food bowl never runs empty & they even get to sleep in the house every night. They hit the doggie jackpot for sure. ❤
Lester I took a bad fall the other day and it tore off my skin from my ankle to my knee right to the bone, thin skin since I have aged. Anyway, I went to a pain management/slash surgeon and he cleaned n dressed it and arranged to have a nurse come to my house 3 times a week to clean n dress the wound. She is supposed to call me on Monday to schedule this. Meanwhile, I was told not to remove the dressings and I am listening but worried about bacteria building up until then....pain is really bad, but you and your families stories is the best distracting to me. For the I thank you all so much, especially, you Lester, my hero💕
Thanks Lester..I miss seeing the river, land...I remember the videos were you and Jami would ride to the river...I know you will make the best decision concerning your property, I agree you need to keep something to keep it clean, it will only take a short time to grow back..❤
What about starting a new herd, with Little Gary coming to ISS as a rescue and the main bull of some shorthorns. Or moving the Alpacas into the back, and adding to their herd. Just ideas.💡 I love how Moo 🐮 always comes to say Hi to Daddy Lester.❤
I smile every time you say Raleigh, that was my grandpa’s name. He raised me from the time I was 12. The name just make’s memories of both my grandparents flood my mind. Thank you for going to the work of creating these videos for the world to see and for your children and grandchildren to have memories flood their vision one day. ❤
Hi Lester! That’s awesome the lot cleared. The small branches were brought back out to the pasture when the water receded. The larger logs were too big and heavy when the water was low to be able to move again.
Thank you Lester! I very much did enjoy this video. I loved the walk about and seeing all the land and listening to you talk about it. This is one of my favorite videos.
If possible I would pasture it for hay then the JL ranch would have its own source of hay and ISS would too then it’s Just LL that you would have to transport hay too? It would make two properties self sufficient and lower outgoing costs and you would know the quality of the hay xx love to everyone xx 🇬🇧 xx
So happy that Jami got her garden beds and Lester so happy for you for getting your Longhorns in at one place… you were excited and giggling like a school girl😂😂so happy for you both♥️♥️
Lester your dad loves you so much. He’s always bragging about you whether you hear it or not we hear it. He’s so proud of all the fence building. You do it in the bridge that you built you have done an amazing job with those dogs. Nobody would’ve taken Stella in. She was ugly little nothing dog when you first got her and you’ve transformed her into a beauty queen, she her for is beautiful her ear her ears looks so much better. She’s got a smile on her face all the time she’s just such a happy little dog she and Christmas get along so well together. Thank you so much for doing what you do last are you and Jeremy both?🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Moo and Oreo kept their eyes on you, Lester. They were waiting for you to get out of sight so they could hop the fence and see what's so interesting over there.😂❤ Did you say you have alligators? Oh my!
Lester, you could put a couple of longhorn steers along with Gary on the back 19 acres, that way you don’t have to worry about bulls or cows going through the fences in search for love.
Boy going back to the land behind ISS is fun. It's amazing the junk a flood washes in. Christmas is like wow dad this is fun, she loves exploring. Is this the same area where you almost lost pig Trudy. I love walk abouts with you and Jamie...thanks for taking us along.....❤😊🪵⭐❤
I live in Kerr County Texas. Guadalupe River runs thru. 1st time I saw it flood I was amazed at its power. Huge cypress trees rushing down the river. Never take water for granted.
Just the other day PawPaw said you are the best fence builder that has come from Morrow Hill, he was very proud of all the fences you have built, and said nobody comes close to you. In a video Dan did, he made fun (in a nice way) of PawPaw using hay string to tie his fence together. You do a great job in all you do.
What a lovely walk. Earlier I walked down to our canal and it was empty. They say the atmosphere storm is coming tonight. So some people will have flooding here in California. Hopefully this will be the last storm. Have a good week and please take care of yourself and Jamie.
The back acres are a real quandary because anything you run back there will also have to have alternative accommodation for a few weeks during any future flooding when they can access that land 🤷♀️
I love the little Gary idea 💕 I know LE might not prefer larger animals but the bigs are crucial to maintaining the property. I think he would learn to love little Gary and a couple ladies/friends. 🫶🏼
Other's have suggested maybe working out a deal with Jake to let his cow's graze the area. I think thats a pretty good idea too or at least for now to maintain things. The also suggested just putting a gate in when you build the new fences for them.
Lester, regarding the newer pasture in the back...my grandpa always ran cattle on his 80 acres and always brush hogged the pastures twice a year, in the spring and fall, so that he could keep down the pest/weed plants and keep his land looking great. He rarely had invasive weeds and his pasture was always pretty and green for three seasons and in the winter he used a couple of hay rings and fed grains under the barn eves. All that just to say, brush hog twice a year to help maintain the grass and reduce the weeds. He also fertilized every spring and fall .
The Morrow family have such a wonderful chunk of land. Even though if floods often it is still a beautiful piece of land. I love these videos where you talk about the future of all of your properties. Your dreams and plans, your plans for deeding it to your boys after you’re gone (way far in the future, I hope), keeping it in the family, it’s just so heartwarming
Wow, you've talked about a lot of different ideas you've got that maybe could be done with these 25 acres. Also all the memories you have things you used to do. This was a great video. I love listening to your ideas. Your a very smart man, just look at LHL and J&L. Now what you should with this, 🤔I have no idea, your own your on🤗
Philadelphia checking in. Les, we love a 19 min vid. even if it is showing pastures. You sir have a gift in being comfortable with the camera and telling a story. Yall are a big reason i got rid of cable. So ty
Jake wasn’t able to fix the fence because Dan told him to get the pillars but they washed away when it flooded. 🤦♀️ also for the back property if grass of good quality could be grown could be used for hay since it seems like that is Tex’s favorite type of hay (you got to keep the big guy happy after his traumatic ordeal - just kidding he only had minor poopy pants and seems happy to have all the ladies back in his life at the J&L). Or maybe Jami could find trees that produce fruit or nuts and don’t require daily maintenance so they could be a bunch of them since it takes awhile to get food from trees… the Sanctuary orchard (the plum grove orchard may make people think you just grow plums 😉😂🤷♀️).
I love the land at ISS it beautiful. I have to say through my eyes all of your land is beautiful. I have trouble picking my favorite place but as of right now Longhorn Lester's is my fav. and that hard to say 😅cause I never thought i would think LHL we would be what it is today in the beauty You and Jami turned that land around it looks nothing like it used to loolk.. I proud of what you donenfor yourself and your boys.
Lester, what an amazing job you are doing. You sir, are an amazing man. Capable of almost anything!!!! Good job loading Tex. I’m thinking Longhorn Lester property should be the J & L since the longhorns aren’t there anymore and the J & L should be named Longhorn Lester’s since all the longhorns are there. Either way sir, you are developing it all beautifully ❤
I grew up wondering why my grandfather had a half-built barn on his property. It seemed very strange to me as a little girl but we were taught not to talk around Grandpa and make noise. I found out in my adult life that in 1930 there was a flood and the river brought it down and lodged it onto his property. So yes weird things do come when there is a flood
My suggestion would be a head of Pineywoods Shorthorns like Gary. Or another beef cattle of your choice. Something that would maintain the pastures without needing much maintenance from you.
❤thank you Lester for showing us the woods to the river. Never seen that. Heard a lot about the river that floods your property. Maybe put up a stronger fence there with a 2 foot space between the fence that is there, like the one you put up between Tex and Billy. Get some cows put there that new property. I know a lot of work. Then need to figure out how to water and feed, just an idea
Also Lester your father does praise you on alot of wonderful things that you have done at all 3 properties! Also he said that you are a very good fences builder, and that you make them very durable and very strong!😊😊😊
I wrote in comment yesterday asking about the plans for these pastures. When the horses go to LHL I would let Jake animals graze your pastures to help your pastures and it will help his pastures recover.
I like the idea of bringing uncle Gary and Trinity over on the property, then perhaps let Bri have her horses(she will soon have 2 horses) in the back of your property also until you figure out for sure what else to do to help maintain the property
Lester take Gary over there give Gary a herd of his own I would love to explore them woods. That's was an awesome field trip had fun thankyou.. One love folks
I think he can take Gary and a steer (not sure if Gary could remain a short horn bull since he wouldn’t be a threat to the nearby bulls due to his injury just like how Tex and Waylon pay him no attention when fighting for the top spot/attention of the ladies). He could put Gary in the back pasture as long as he had access to the lane up to the barn where he could get away from any flooding-the Morrows on the property would probably need to monitor his whereabouts if they get any sudden flooding to make sure he safely makes it to higher ground (Lester did say the ISS divided barn where the horse stalls are is the highest point on all of Morrow Hill so as long as he could get up towards the barn before the back pasture was under water like it was recently he would be fine). I think it would make sense as long as he had some type of companion even if it weren’t necessarily a bovine/cow (hey maybe a mini buffalo or some other type of animal that could stand its own but not be a threat to the bulls in the nearby pastures but maybe something smaller than Gary so he could get the self esteem boost after his injury of being the big guy in the pasture - like when the babies were in the pasture with him and made him move and groove way more than when he was alone until it was too close for comfort with the fence by the highway being down as it was getting ready to be replaced). I think out of all the current animals that they have he would be the most successful in that pasture but do feel like he does better with smaller friends like when he was with the longhorn calves.
@cyndybrehhio7566 Pete from the Little Rascals was a white with black and his was a Pit bull not a mix. Stella is all black and a mix breed not a Pit bull
Dragging and mowing is a good idea. Leave it until there is plush grazing. Seems too dangerous because of flooding that comes up so quickly ( to just keep stock back there)
It would make sense to bring lil Gary over as a rescue to Ima and maybe get him some friends. Or you could gift him to Jake and let him run his herd on that land to help keep it in check.
My suggestion about the back property on marrow hill is to lend or rent it to Jake and or Bree for their big animals. Pay it forward as your uncle did for you. 😊 The kids animals will keep it maintained without LE having to do anything with bigs. Win win.
My opinion for what it is worth. I would say that for the back pasture maybe make Gary a steer and take him there and maybe rescue another steer and let them graze back there. Or. Offer it to Jake to run his cattle on. Because one Moses is in need of a DMZ from Jake’s females and I think maybe it would benefit both your pasture where you will not have a lot of time to care for it ( you have a lot on your plate) and Meg and LE doesn’t want more bigs. So less time needed to go out there. And more room away from Moses and the lil bull Zubu Rj I think is its name. Hope I communicated that well. Love you’re content and thanks for sharing your story with us
Lester, thanks for taking us cos I was wondering what had happened cos of the flood. Please move those logs back into the clearing before setting them on fire! You have no way to put a fire out back there. Maybe when you rent the bulldozer for J&L you could bring it to the Sanctuary, pull that stuff out in a straight line and set it on fire at one end and let the line burn like a horizontal candle so it wouldn't get too big?
My childhood was like this walk about.. Grew up along a river in ohio , and my younger sister and i would spend a LOT OF TIME at the river walking a couple of miles along the river.. GOSH them were good times
Evening Lester. That’s was a really good catch up and hear your thoughts on the back property at IMASS. The amount of junk the force of the river brings amazes me especially the tree trunks. It would always be difficult to put much back there because of the flooding I would have thought. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us all. Talking of fencing your dad was heaping praise in his video and also said you were the best fence builder on Morrow Hill. You build the best fence the neatest fence the sturdiest and prettiest. We already know you are but hearing your dad was say it means more. Enjoy your weekend. Much love and prayers take care God Bless. 🙏💕🤠
What a beautiful area you have by the river.Because of the other Bulls ,could could take Gary once he is fixed and buy a few other steers ( I think that’s what they are called once fixed) You would not have a problem with Moses and maybe some deer or Alpaca. They are animals that don’t need daily maintenance.
Lester I would even it out back there and make it a hay field for the sanctuary. Since your about to loose the Hayfiled you currently use. That way each place has their own Hayfileds with each their own grass. Save money in the long run just in case a drought as well you having extra hay would do some good. So you wouldn't have to buy it
Lester, I know that your dad is generally not big on giving you praise for the incredible things you do, but he can't stop talking about how incredibly beautiful a job you did at LHL and when you built the cattle bridge in your driveway there when the flash flood washed it away. Pawpaw was just saying Lester has the best fence building skills of any on the Hill❤
@@sandsand07he said the bulls would come thru from the other pasture to get to the females. They would have to be steers
It was definitely a proud dad moment 🫶
Lester, I was watching a PawPaw video the other day and your dad raved about your fence building skills. He stated you are the best and most precise fence builder on Morrow Hill. He is very proud of you.
I guess Lester’s Head and Shoulders Knees and Toes are the exact correct proportions. 😂😂
I was just watching the dogs and thinking about how their lives have changed since you and Jami took them in. Especially Chrissy and Stella here. Your dad was just praising your fence building Lester, he said you're the best. I think he's right, you do exceptional work.⭐
Lester, my suggestion for the back pastures is to get Little Gary some friends. Maybe even rescues and let them run back there.
That what I was thinking.
That’s a good idea since you since you invested so much into clearing it, but really I have no idea. Whatever you think, Lester.
that won't be fit for gary because of his leg
LE is scared of big animals
@@mariecarr3896he can still have friends he doesn’t have to breed them. Even tho I think he is doing fine at J&L myself.
Thank you, Lester 🥰
If indeed LE and Megan don't want large animals for the time being, could Jake use it for a few years, as he already has a gate from his pasture into yours 🤔

Amazing those big logs were moved by the flood waters.
The dogs are so loyal and hard workers. 💞
I live in Kerr County Texas. Guadalupe River runs thru. 1st time I saw it flood I was amazed at its power. Huge cypress trees rushing down the river. Never take water for granted.
Thank you for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all.
❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
That back lot where the debris is at be a perfect place for Gary and a friend ❤
So ty
Wow that tv is a relic😂I can’t wait to see what you decide to do with that back pasture ❤🤗👍
What a great place for all those childhood memories Lester, I can imagine.
Look at Christy (leader) and Stella living their best life!
The background music is so inspiring ! Love your videos !
Thanks for taking us along on your journey to the back.❤❤❤
Agreed. He gets downright shiny when he glows on Lester. Love it!
Also Lester your father does praise you on alot of wonderful things that you have done at all 3 properties!
Also he said that you are a very good fences builder, and that you make them very durable and very strong!😊😊😊
Thanks for sharing your plans. Just wondering if you could make the back pasture a hay field?
Have a great weekend !
I’m so happy to see Trixie running free with you. She is such a good girl! ❤😊
I always love a good walk about with you, Lester! ❤
Lester take Gary over there give Gary a herd of his own I would love to explore them woods. That's was an awesome field trip had fun thankyou.. One love folks
He can’t bring Gary over because of Billy and Moses. That’s one reason he bought LHL and moved Tex. Too many bulls.
He will be a steer, ya'll.
@@rah2209
if they get a good flood it will take out gary and others
@@mariecarr3896 That’s a good point. Even with this latest flood, they had to move Jake’s cows up closer to the house.
Good evening Lester, thank you for this video. I always enjoy them.
Hey Lester .. that water source is beautiful…we have ones similar to that in NJ. It holds so much history and curiosity.
Christmas looking like Pete on little rascals. Lol! I love that goofy dog. ❤❤❤❤
I love Stella so much!
@cyndybrehhio7566 Pete from the Little Rascals was a white with black and his was a Pit bull not a mix. Stella is all black and a mix breed not a Pit bull
Something doesn't have to be identical to remind someone of something or someone. It's not so much as looks but feeling.
@@daniellewoolley8607 yes I'm sorry I meant to say Christmas. Lol
@Cyndy
I saw that, too! Looked like she had a black eye! 😂😂
Nice trip down to the river. Christmas and Stella enjoyed checking out the back property.🙂
Your dogs are living the idea dog life.!
Dragging and mowing is a good idea. Leave it until there is plush grazing. Seems too dangerous because of flooding that comes up so quickly ( to just keep stock back there)
Thanks for the tour. I always heard about the river being behind IMA But I have never had a chance until now. ❤
It would make sense to bring lil Gary over as a rescue to Ima and maybe get him some friends. Or you could gift him to Jake and let him run his herd on that land to help keep it in check.
Jake's poles floated away that Dan had there...that is why Jake had to wait.
I think it would be a great place for Gary. Maybe you can get him another companion steer
Love you’re content and thanks for sharing your story with us
Maybe Bri, Jake or Uncle Dan would be interested in letting their livestock graze it down and let their pastures have a rest. Just a thought
Bring Little Gary to ISS to help with that Pasture Maintenance, but ONLY IF he will have a companion.🐂🥰💖
100% agreed, he can have his own little herd ❤
He can’t because of Billy and Moses.
That’s kinda the direction my thoughts were heading. Maybe even investing in a few shorthorns and starting a new herd with Little Gary at ISS.❤
@@rah2209Well he'd have to be made a steer.... 🎉
@@karengroelsma3097 I would be THRILLED if our Little Gary could have his own herd!!😃🥰💖💖💖
What a bout Gary and a few other steers to keep pasture nice
Maybe Jake can expand his grazing area over to your property to help keep it kept.
My childhood was like this walk about..
Grew up along a river in ohio , and my younger sister and i would spend a LOT OF TIME at the river walking a couple of miles along the river.. GOSH them were good times
God knew you had alot on your plate to handle so he washed your pasture clean. What an amazing God we have.
The idea of Little Gary at ISS, is a great idea🥰
Such an old TV, wow!!
Lester please don’t start any fires without the Fire Department with you.. you know how fast a fire can spread..❤
Hey Lester you are such a great teacher I’d put money on LE learning how to mow the pastures 👍🏻❤️
l suggest taking the time to work the soil up and seed it for hay
Prayers for health and safety!🙏❤️🙏
It is so amazing how the misfit dogs love you so, Dogs know and sense the beautiful humans in the world.❤
Lester, pawpaw still says you are the only one who knows how to do fences properly around the hill. ❤❤❤❤
Lester I would even it out back there and make it a hay field for the sanctuary. Since your about to loose the Hayfiled you currently use. That way each place has their own Hayfileds with each their own grass. Save money in the long run just in case a drought as well you having extra hay would do some good. So you wouldn't have to buy it
I agree it could be a hay or alfalfa field possibly
It does flood a lot back there, as they are right next to the river. Not sure any crop would survive that.
