Great video Chris, just awesome that your kids took over, like it, that is what my father did with me from a ridiculous age of 8 years old, our tractor driver sit on the left mudguard to push the clutch
@@jankotze1959 I was probably 10 when I started driving tractors with some adult help. Seems so young now, but I sure felt old enough then! Thanks Jan 🙂
At the ripe old age of 5, i was raking the the Massey 135 and NH 56 rake. Plus moving field to field on the road, by myself. Wasn't so bad back then, might see 5 or maybe 10 cars in 20 miles of state highway.. now, that same route, you'd encounter 5k-10k idiots in cars. As I've always said, teach them young, teach them right, they grow up to be better people!! Good Dad Chris!!!
@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin I was around 10- but in field only. I don't think I could stand being on the road with a tractor a that many cars... Thank you Ed!!
@TheGrumpyFarmer I have videos from May that haven't been edited yet 🤣 Just can't find the time to edit and upload them. Plus nobody really watches them anyway so what's the hurry 🤷
Haying always seems magical. It was always a family effort. Thank you Chris.
@brycewiborg8095 there is definitely something unique about it, especially with family helping. Thanks Bryce!

@@DennysCountryLife thanks! It should have been...
Looks good… 👍
@@HumbleHaymakers thank you!
I am doing first cut mid July 😉😒😂 Chris.
Same here, but it's because of new to us big baler repairs and ridiculously high temps!! 95-110 for a month, should be in the 80s..
I hope you get a good crop. Was it because of wet weather or dry weather that put you behind?
@@dehavenfamilyfarm wet wet wet 🫤
Nice teamwork! Hope you got it up ok.
@@farmerpete thanks! No, the rest didn't go as planned...
