I’m a hwoarang hard stuck in shinryu and sometimes it feels like k wiss and I are playing entirely different games
I'm stuck Tenyru in the UK it's mostly my fault but the quality of matches I'm getting atm it's atrocious
I was hard stuck in shinryu and tenryu to, atm, I am in battle pooper, please take my advice,
never go in rank without warmup,
start looking at matchups rather than just your favourite streamer ( watch K wiss, K wiss is love)
Ditch B3 and doing everytime after RFS, go for 3~4 instead and start sidestepping in practice against the cpu.
This alone got me to purple

hey kwiss I main jin and also use the dualsense edge and I also hold the controller exactly how you do, but I do use the shorter back button on the left side where the pad is, Ive bounded it to my 2 button or triangle. I figured out that it makes my electrics 10x more consistent since your basically doing the whole input with one hand, im aware you dont main jin you main hwo, but hwo does have a justframe (skyrocket) and it could have the same effect like with my electrics except you'd bind the back button to 4 or circle. Ive been watching you play for a while I do know you already have a very consistent justframe skyrocket but I just wanted to suggest something you could try, you might like it.
Maybe it's because I've been using Gamecube or Xbox controllers for so long, but I can't imagine playing a fighting game with a D-pad.

K wiss I would like to see you try out the Xbox controller, I switched to that from ps5 controller and I went from mighty ruler to Fujin with Hwoarang. The success lays in the cleaner d pad input.
Hey K-Wiss, hopefully you reply. Hwoarang player from 7. I've not purchased T8 after 7. I didn't like the Heat system, that defense looks like a lost playstyle, and I thought alot of Hwoarangs identity would be changed to accomodate the new offense heavy nature (I don't think he looks as good now as in 7!). With that in mind, would you still recommend T8?

if you're referring to the move after the heat dash; ss+3,3 (puts you in LFS) then 3,2
im only a tekken king scrub but close to the wall iv been finding 1 2 really splats well
