I don’t blame the sens not as much as Uber. Uber released private footage without the knowledge of the players which Uber CAN NOT DO by the way, and people want an apology from the players it’s the other way round guys. I want an apology from Uber
Certain states would disallow the publication of this because both parties would need to be aware of the recording - California for example. But as stated by GoldGravity, AZ is a single party consent state.
@GoldGravity even the Uber spokeperson said it is a VIOLATION of the Uber policies. Yes the Uber driver is allow to film for his safety BUT the Sens players didnt mentally or physically harmed the Uber driver.

It wouldn't go by the law in Arizona, it would go by the policies of Uber, Uber's policies don't change depending what state the incident happens in.

They were riding in a cab, even if it's uber. Who expects to be videotaped and have their private discussion posted online without their knowledge or consent? That was a douche move by uber and/or the driver. The conversation was private, just because you're not hiding in a bank vault that doesn't mean there's no expectation of privacy.

I think the Uber driver should be fired. It was wrong for him to take that video and post it all over. However, the senators shouldn’t go unpunished for their actions. Yes you are human, yes every one in a while you get frustrated with your team and things come out your mouth. You when that does happen you need to be aware of your surroundings, and you need to not be in public. Talk with your close friends/relatives. And not in public. In your/their house. In this case they didn’t do that and the Uber driver took the wrong decision. You need to take ownership for what you did. You said something you shouldn’t have, or atleast not aloud, and you must do something about it. You can just say that and not stand up for it. That’s disgraceful.

Basically, what I saw was a handful of people complaining about their boss. Something that literally all of us have done at some point when things weren't going well at work.

This really isn't as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. Everyone complains about their job. I'm sure it happens all the time in professional sports too. The only difference here is that an Uber driver caught a private conversation on film and released it without their knowledge. They were having a private conversation talking about their job as anybody does. It is not the Uber driver's right to release that footage or his obligation, and it goes directly against Uber's policies.
I have to admit Duchene and Widman should man up. I was very surprised those two would do that. They are the leaders and all they did was weaken a weak team.

I've been waiting all day for this.
I'm starting to really question how Sid has a show at all. He is the voice of every man when they get so angry they just stop thinking. What do guys say in arguments when they have nothing to actually say: "ITS A JOKE or THAT'S A JOKE." The only other guy I know who says that phrase as often as Sid is Jeff O'Neil. They are just both really terrible at facilitating conversation and need to start helping the conversation along instead of just being like I am god listen to my thoughts.

I think it's sad how that uber driver exposed those players. We all vent at some point and they should be allowed to privacy just like any other citizen. I know that players from now on will ask drivers if their filming for sure. Sorry but this was a complete lack of privacy.

This is an internal matter between players and coach. They as players have legitimate concerns about the PK and Guy Boucher has a responsibility to address the situation with extra practice until there is improvement. In other words, go old school on them coach. John Tortorella would have chewed them out.

To give the players credit it's not like they were in front of there bosses they were in a cab talking like any of us would. How were they going to know the driver would post it too you tunb. I know we get recorded everywhere we go today but we know that and forget that cause we are just use to it.
