How do you remove the navigation screen from the radio display screen. When I needed the navigation screen I touched the blank side and it came on. After I finished using it now every time I turn on the car radio it shows up but i do not need it.
I cannot figure out how to put the sound to my back speakers. I have read the manual, the radio only is in the front and want to be able to move the sound to the back.

@luckygirl9177 thank you for your feedback:) The cameras have no way to record and will only work while the vehicle is on. I recommend a dash cam system if you need to record.
Go under your Settings menu. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and select Updates. Then look to see if you need an update. You will need to be on wifi to do an over the air update. If this doesn't work. Contact you local GM service department.
Thank you for the question. Head Up display is not available on Equinox. The window on top of the dash is part of the Forward Collision Alert. When activated, a red light will reflect onto the window. This usually happens when vehicle is moving too quickly, and system detects object.
That's collision alert, when you get to close to an object it beeps louder than the music or what ever you're playing if anything. You can turn it on and off as well.
I can't stand the 2024 Equinox Infortainment Center.... If you are trying to play a Thumbdrive and you're by yourself you can ONLY do it by voice command this is awful.... After trying about a dozen times to speak what you want and it does not get it right you just give up! Like if you say, "Play BJ Thomas" it will respond, "Ok, calling BJ" (who is a contact of mine). Then if you have 5 or 6 albums by the same artist it is impossible to speak to the infotainment center WHICH album you want to play..... this is nothing but the Nanny State....which I don't understand because you can change the channel on the Radio and Satellite Radio manually if you're by yourself, I just can't figure our why you are locked out of doing it manually if you're driving by yourself.....many times I just have to pull over to a stop to select what I want played (and that seems more dangerous).
@@buywithbennyI have a lot of my CDs on my thumb drive this is what I'm playing my thumb drive, you will then ask why I don't download all of my CDs to my phone, if I did that I would use up all of the memory in my phone.

My 22Equinox didn't come with automatic start I have to get in and start it may I order a automatic start
Remote start should be available through GM Accessories. Call your trusted GM dealership.

Just park your car in the garage and touch the menu button and it should leave the screen.

Thank you for the comment and question. The rear camera is only a visual. Vehicle needs to be equipped with rear park assist for the beeps.

What does the green battery lite showing low battery? I've only had truck a month. Don't see nothing in the book. 4 lte
Can you be more specific? Where is this light displayed at and what type of vehicle do you have?
Is your phone connected to your truck? My mom's 18 equinox does this and it'll show the phone's battery level like that

Yes. The date can be displayed under settings on the driver Information Center menu
How do you change the settings for audio like the bass etc
Select Audio on the touch screen. Then select menu on the next screen.

Thank you for the feedback. I recommend using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for the voice commands. It's much easier.
