Scott Steiner always looked legit. Could've been a bigger star if it wasn't for backstage politics in WCW and several serious injuries. You could believe this guy was crazy and alpha. Modern wrestling may be more athletic and acrobatic but it looks choreographed and phony, finishers used to finish a match now they're just regular spots. Everyone knows it's fake, but guys don't even try to make it seem like they legit hate each other. Wrestlers today are more worried about their moves than promos and character, how many moves did Stone Cold or The Rock do? Look at the amount of ticket sales, merch sales and ratings they drew. To me WWE went to shit when they started catering to the vocal minority that just wants their Indy darling to be pushed. Don't get me wrong one of my favorite wrestlers is AJ Styles especially his 2004-2008 TNA years, he does high flying moves but it's believable and doesn't look fake. He has a nice build for a smaller guy. Today everyone looks the same, how can a guy become a star and stand out today when everyone looks the same. Wrestling was better when guys became wrestlers to make money and not fan boys and marks that wanted be wrestlers. I stopped watching WWE regularly in 2006, the babyfaces are booked liked heels and the heels are booked like chicken shit cowards. With the cancel culture and soy boys being easily offended by everything and someone else's problems WWE could become white hot if they had Heels offending today's culture. I'm surprised nobody pulled a Trump Supporter gimmick to become the biggest heel in the business like Colby Covington did in the UFC. At the end of the day, it's a business to draw money and not impress Dave Meltzer and try to get a 5 star match.
About your Trump supporter gimmick idea...plenty of different incarnations of this in the past that were ahead of it's time. Kerwin White was a gimmick Chavo did where he denounced his Latino Hispanic heritage and embraced himself as a golf-playing buggy driving middle class white American, his slogan was very controversial 'I'm Kerwin White and remember, if it's not white, then it's not right!'
Scott Steiner was Bad Ass! Helluva' wrestler in my opinion. Especially in his early days before he became "Big Poppa Pump. He had ALOT of good moves in his arsenal, especially that damn tiger bomb(double underhook powerbomb) and the Steiner Screwdriver! That move was bad asf!

Scott Steiner was an awesome wrestler.....Why some say he wasn't I just laugh....He was a power wrestler not a technical wrestler...A division 1 all American and my greatest wrestler alltime .....Dude was a legend ....Animal brings up the Great American Bash....I lived in Baltimore at that time and went to the 88,89 and 90 as a kid with with 88 def being my favorite as it was the first ever time for The Tower of Doom was built....3 Cages on top of another and the Road Warriors were in that match ...EPIC!
Bagwell looks and sounds like R. Lee Ermey here for some reason
Dentures maybe
@@ramseyj79 Did Lee wear dentures? I think a lot of it has to do with the accent but Bagwell's from Georgia and Ermey was from Kansas so it's odd that they would sound similar
Dallas beating up Scott Stiener? nah dude is a real wrestler
Bagwell sounds like he smokes a pack a day
And took a massive Valium as well...
Sid, of all people, says that Scott wasn't a great wrestler?? He was a fantastic wrestler early in his career. At any point in Scott's career, he looked like Kurt Angle next to Sid.
I brought a ppv bc of Scott Steiner never bc of Sid tho I like him
Nothing finer than *Scott Steiner*
The Steiners were the best tag team of all times, bar to none. Only the Road Warriors are in their league.
You forgot Hardy Boyz and Harlem hear. I'm talking all around legit tag teams
The Rockers. Legion of Doom.... Sit down please, I could go on....
Zylo nope, Demolition and Hart Foundation, formidable as they were, are not in the Steiners’ or the Road Warriors’ league. WWE tag teams are a tier beneath NWA’s. As for The Rockers, when they were The Midnight Rockers they were awesome, but once in the WWF they became mid-card talent, unfortunately
Justin Sharpe not really. Both were fantastic, but not better then the Midnight Express, Demolition, the Freebirds, Bulldogs.
@@B_Chasnika not really. Both were fantastic, but not better then the Midnight Express, Demolition, the Freebirds, Bulldogs
Sid couldn't tell it any better, honest and straight forward guy
You’re joking right..?
Scott jumped off top ropes many times & never shattered his leg off top rope & he invented many moves 450 splash backwards moonsault, frakensteiner! Sid & jose say your jealous without directly saying your jealous lmao😂😂!
I busted out laughing when Sid said Scott couldn't work . Did he completely lose his mind when he broke his leg ? He must have done this interview in between softball games .
I like ddp but i can guarantee you this on his best day he never EVER beat Scott's ass! Goldberg has even said he had nothing for Scott Steiner!
Top tag teams:
Road Warriors
Steiner Bros
Briscoe Brothers
Rock n Roll Express
Barry Windham and Mike Rotunda
@Rj Boss you are totally right British are on the list, left them off accidentally. They definitely are one of the greatest all time
Windham and Rotunda...that's got to be around 1985 or 1986. Good call! I never hear anyone mention when they were a team back in WWF.
Lenny and Lodi
Harlem Heat?
Thanks Hannibal🙏@bigdaddyGOC🔥
He was far better than Psycho Syd. Shouldn't expect much brains from a dude who said, "...and you and I know, I have half the brains that you do!"
I understood a whole five words Buff Bagwell said
There are intense guys out there but you don’t hear about them, but give him muscle and fame and you’ll hear a lot of stories about them.
I love sid but that was dumbest shit I've ever heard him say. Scott was an incredible wrestler and he's beloved.
holy shit I've never seen honkey speak so highly of a fellow wrestler in a shoot interview.
Jay and Mark, The Briscoes, are the most exciting modern team to watch.
Facts bro been watching them since 2001 in czw
Rip Briscoes but nowhere near the steiner's level!
Conor McGregor is one of the most accurate strikers/kickers in UFC history......yet Khabib beat the pulp out of him using his wrestling. Sorry Road Warrior Animal.....but the Steiners would take you down unless you land a lucky punch or kick, and even then you better hit hard enough to stop them with one shot......or it's game over for you.
Khabib is best grappler in mma also conor beat chad mendes (ncaa wrestler)
The road warriors were enforcers before wrestling. Even modern day UFC has a ton of rules that don't apply to real fights.
Sid-"Scott was never a great wrestler."
First of all, wrong. Second, the irony coming from Sid.
lol Sid said he has half the brain of Kevin Nash 🤣and I'de say about half the wrestling skill/agility of Prime Scott Steiner.
Sid says Scott wasn't a good wrestler lol. He might have been a dick later in his career, but he was a great worker in the early days.
I'd totally rock that Quebecers shirt PCO is wearing.
You always put out great videos good stuff
I love Animal, but oh if only I had a nickel for every “street fighter” who thought they could beat a trained collegiate or skilled amateur wrestle lol.
Always the same “nO rEf oN tHe StReEtS and talk about the mythical dirty street fighting tactics. Like a trained fighter wouldn’t literally do the same thing lol
Even if they’re tough, athletic, etc-they’re losing 99.99% of the time. And anyone who’s seen or been in a fight as or with someone trained knows this.
Especially prime Steiner, who has submission and catch as catch can knowledge on top of being a great wrestler.
Everyone thinks they’re just gonna step out and punch a wrestler when they get shot on, until they’re on their back getting daddied or pummeled lol.
Did Jacques Rugeau ever consider the reason why all these wrestlers were dicks to him, Was because of his personality?
He does seem to be the victim of virtually every wrestler ever, and his proudest moment in the business is grabbing a roll of quarters and sucker punching dynamite.
True lol
I recall Cornette claiming that he was claiming that he was one of the best natural heels. All Jacques allegedly had to do was be himself.
Sid should never have been allowed to leave his feet.
Markus, it looks like you've had the stuff kicked out of you. Get well soon, heel up.
Scott is a superstar. World Champ. Great run with Goldberg
This video changed my mind about Steiner. I thought his mic skills were subpar and his Big Poppa Pump character was a copy of Buff Bagwell’s persona...but he was a professional.
Sid Vicious or Chuck Connors? YOU make the call.
Scott Steiner would have supplexed sid vicious till he couldn't walk. Loll
Steiner was boring
Great video thank's 👍👍
I loved the Steiner Brothers but a lot of wrestlers said they were hard to work with and didn't want to put anyone over.
Thats the only reason I watched wrestling to see Scott Steiner
Scott need a single in hall of fame
Just the fact Scott praised Jim Herd as a promoter gotta question his sanity!!
PCO...looks like a guy that could kick ass in a "real" fight.
these losers who knock him are marks. BPP was never a mark and he will never be one either. Legend come to mind as a performer. The only reason he didn’t last in WWE, jealousy by HHH. That’s what it come down too
I think Scott Steiner was more happier in WCW even though a lot of stuff going on there than he was in WWE
I’m a big sid fan but he’s way off on Steiners ability and him drawing money.
That first wrestler talking about the Steiners was loaded to the gills. He could barely keep his eyes open.
Animal is fucking delusional if he thinks he could have ever stopped Scott Steiner from shooting a takedown on him, let alone beating him in a fight.
i saw Jerry Robert wrestle live many times.
flair should have gave that belt to the master of the Steiner recliner...flabby 50 flair or 33 year old poppa pump..
Flair was putting people in them seats while Scott was a still having wet dreams about his high school crush . Scott wasn't a Main Eventer till 1999 and 2000 by then WCW was already folding
I didn't understand half of what buff was saying?!?
You mean MAJORITY of what he was saying...
Guy with dreadlocks. dude no, Scott is not up there in mic skills with The Rock, Austin lol
It's the kind of situation where you just have to meet the man, don't judge by other guys talking shit. The genetic freak is a brother 4life💪🤌
That transition at 14:55 tho 😂😂😂
Did Pierre really say the Steiners left WWF cos they didn't wanna put them over? What a fucking mark lol
got too disagree with animal saying look at the ufc most guys are not wrestlers its actually the other way around
You cant win in the UFC without wrestling. Dunno what animal is on about.
WAIT A MINUTE!!!!! SCOTT Steiner was easily among the top ten amateur wrestlers to enter the business.
Yaawwwn
Sid heard DDP bt Steiner up backstage!!pmsl. Ok Sid,every version I heard Steiner absolutely Destroyed Dallas.
Super Star Billy Graham! Wow
I call bullshit on the Jacques story. That coward didn't throw anything at Robbie Steiner
Leaping Lanny seems to have a bit of a crush on big papa pump hahaha
He knows both brothers from the territory days.
