I have the PDP SF and immediately installed the ZR Tactical Long Stroke Guide Rod. I absolutely love it. The only other change I want to make is installing an Overwatch Precision trigger. I have smaller hands and the trigger safety sticks out a little far for me and locks up. Great video 👏🏻
Theoretically, yes. The ergonomics are very straight forward, aim and point where you want. Just find the right back strap size. I feel like the balance of the pdp is off without a dot, and I love shooting irons still. But the gun feels like they designed it to have the weight on the top. All around, it’ll be easier to train with to help find the dot every time. Best of luck.
What are your thoughts on the DMP recoil systems? Just picked one up for my PDP, I also have the ZR tactical guide rod but the DPM’s multi spring system was interesting. DPM is a heavier reco
Hi Joel - Im an leftie shooter - what are the holster and hanger you are using ? Im shooting IPSC production with the open race holster today but are thinking going similar as you are using
What about mag extensions for carry optics without the mag well attached? Walther forum members are talking about over insertion issues and are saying the mag well is what stops the mag from over inserting. This would be for the steel frame pdp.
This was an issue for the Canik Rival SF. I have one.... the Walther SF is good to go. Mine is set up like Joel's. Henning BP's with MBX spring and follower.
It's the air of a slightly bored and unruly teenager that Ben brings to the pro shop videos that keeps me coming back.
You'll be happy to know HE IS JUST LIKE THAT in person! 😂 Great instructor, but don't expect anything but unfiltered truth. 😉😎
That is how every video should end
That’s great info!
I’m ready to dump my Sigs for Walther.
The “Tip” at the end goes hard🤘🏻
Me too.
I did, you won't be sorry. The Steel frame Match is best in class. I'm 10K rounds in with mine, not looking back. 😉
End of video was the best part
Ben, I got your “same same but different reference”. Glad we watch similar movies lol

HAHA!! These videos are the best and great last words Ben… 😂
Does the Walther make it easier to find the dot?

Kinda Bill and Ted, keep it up.

Doesn’t the G19/45/47 also use a 18lb recoil spring?
Anybody figure out a fix for the walther failure to extract issue
Concur
Hahaha he said Glock
Same but different? Same same? Fun fact Japanese engineers use these terms when testing dirt bikes with factory riders 😂
Ahhhhhhhh……there was a happy ending….
So with the PDP match steel frame. Whats your thoughts on recoil spring for 124 grain?
ZRT long stroke guide rod is the way to go
@user1138 Good evening. Thank you for the information
I feel Ben's commentary was a little hard at the conclusion of this video.
Make the exact same modifications to my SF Q5. Boner.
Show us your PEEpee setup, next time, please.
