I was a teenager when I first saw BTS . I agree with ' safe ' . That's what I feel when watching them . As a little girl, men scared me , the way they hold themselves intimidated me . But BTS has this aura of cozy , soothing and safe energy . Mostly Jimin , his way of talking when on Vlive or just when he's talking to ARMY , his tone is soft and kind
@@usagi009 I 1000% agree with you. Although I'm an adult now but being around guys just feels very unsafe or uncomfortable you can say. And whenever I say "I don't like men" or "I feel uncomfortable around them" I always exclude bts from them.
Fun Fact: Jimin's soft and soothing vocals in Serendipity is proven to even make babies fall asleep, Jimin's vocals are so pure and breathtaking, he's very versatile as well, he can sing in so many styles and can do so many variations, one of my fav vocalists for sure💜

Serendipity is so beautiful! I always found it interesting how the title means lucky coincidence/accident, but the lyrics talked about fate and the universe which planned everything from the beginning - so I liked how Jimin explained it here

Park Jimin has the voice, visuals, and personality of an angel. Serendipity is the song that solidified my position as ARMY and made him my ult bias. He had me mesmerized and truly took my breath away. I’ve never looked back since! I also own a business and it’s named after this song. It’s just so special to me. 💛🌙 (The girls had me cracking up in this video bc I’m the same way when Jimin is on the screen 😅 Also, Summer, yellow is my favorite color too, so it definitely makes the aesthetic even more appealing! Plus, Jimin IS so pretty! 💛)

Fun fact: jimin is actually allergic to cats so no he doesn't have his own cat😔
I’m allergic to cats and when you are allergic you can’t even be in the same house for more than two minutes, so Jimin probably had to be given an allergy shot to film that scene.

Fun fact! Shawn Stockman of BoyzIIMen was brought to a BTS concert before he really knew them and came out a fan..he thought they were all amazing performers and particularly fell in love with the song Serendipity,,to the point where he immediately got to figuring out the song for himself as soon as he got home with a friend..he then posted a video of himself covering Serendipity -- in Korean! Its so lovely-- he liked the song so much, he wanted to sing it for himself, it spoke to him past language barrier-- even for someone not as familiarized with BTS as a longtime ARMY who covers a BTS song might be...yeah, its a great song. It was Khalid's favorite once-upon-a-time , etcetc
Actually, Jimin can’t have pets, despite being an animal lover. Although he loves cats, he is allergic to them, and cannot be in their presence for an extended period of time. I think he had to take a special allergy medicine before he could touch the cat. Although, don’t quote me on that. Great reaction. Serendipity is my favorite song of his. 💜💜💜
Just to let you know that the live performance was with the extended version of it that came out later on Love Yourself Answer album, if you see on music platforms there's two of them, this one is shorter as is more like the Intro to Love Yourself Her album!!!

and thank god you are staying a BTS only channel i don´t listen to kpop only BTS. and it drives me crazy whenever i meet a cool and nice reactor, that then begin doing a lot of BTS. and suddenly cutting back on that to make room for more groups. i end up forgetting the reactor. and i talked to a few army´s about it and it´s the same for them.

I watched a musician talk about this song,and they deducted that a theramin was used in the production for some of the background music. I'm not quite sure. But in the album notes,I didn't see such an instrument, but I know they put all kinds of sounds on a synthesizer ...could this be one such possibility? Also,this song calms a crying baby, and my 3yr old granddaughter when she missing mommy,I just let her watch this mv!😊

When I first hear this song I listed to it on the daily for maybe a month! It's so beautiful!! It has a very spiritual quality. Some people have speculated that the message is about loving himself and that's a plausible theory. The ball changing from something smaller than Jimin and then much larger somehow infers a higher power, plus the messages of healing, uniqueness, and love all point to spirituality for me. And how do you now fall in love with him when watching this! Ohmigosh the eye contact and his gentle voice just slays me at the end.

So thank you for pointing out what you find interesting in the production, sometimes I hear new elements because of your analysis. I'm confused as to why the first album trailers, which were solos, were not included in the chronological list. Like before No More Dream, N.O, Danger and Run, there are comeback trailer music videos. Several become relevant again later like for RM's Persona. I can only assume its because they are animated so the guys are not in them, is why they were excluded.

the mv is a shorter version that was released before the extended studio version. serendipity mv version was the intro on their 2017 album love yourself: her. the full studio version was released in 2019 on the love myself: answer compilation album along with the full studio version of jungkook's solo euphoria which was originally released in 2018 as a kind of separate "intro". fun fact: jimin is very allergic to pets, specifically cats, but is a huge animal lover and animals really seem to love him. they gravitate towards him. he said he would love a pet but his allergies and busy schedule prevent him from getting a pet :(
