yeah really enjoyed the coverage, the vlogs were cool the road trip there helps us capture the experience, was a fun watch , and the board build zach did prior to the show makes me wanna get an all mythos board the graphic designs are beautiful, and it looked amazing, keep it up and hope naam was a fruitful venture for you guys
I would be very excited to see instructional videos like soldering and how to use a multimeter from you guys. If you do a series like that you should consider organizing them together on your website in a "how to" section for easy reference as I'm sure I would return to them often!
Huge recommendation for the Guitar Summit. What an amazing event, but god forbid, us lowly retail customers are allowed there all the time! But an amazing event, low sound levels plus really cool masterclasses and hangs with cool artists and industry professional.
I like you both and always enjoy these videos. I don't like not having timestamps so I can consume the content in shorter bites as my day allows. I'd wager I watch/listen to more of a longform video, when I have timestamps, because I keep coming back to catch different segments.
For me, I don't watch any of the content about NAMM unless there's something I REALLY want to see - obviously like the Herculean! A couple of other examples were I skipped through the Ibanez video to see if they'd brought the Roadcore series back or if there were any new Talmans (not basses) that weren't the awesome (but too much for me) Yvette Young colours. I'll just wait until it gets back to Andertons or That Pedal Show when it officially gets released later in the year for anything else that got announced. Even the new Victory amp I didn't hear until it was on Chris Bucks video today.
I think what you were getting to at the beginning is twofold. One the purpose of the show, it is and should be creators working with dealers, not a convention style similar to Comic Con (direct to buyer). And two intention and mindset. You want to make sure you are having the right conversation with the right person. You are going to talk to a dealer, media person and a direct buyer very differently and you don’t want to be swaying that conversation for the wrong audience and turn someone off.
As cool as it would be to go, i think with the content creators doing such good work, there is no upside to it being open (other than all the money to be made for namm lol) to the public. I know i would have a hard time not fan-boying over some of the makers and i know if i were a manufacturor would be super annoyed.
I thought the coverage (I watched a lot - several people were live streaming as they walked the show. Johnny Beane literally live streamed for HOURS) was average. Mostly because there weren't any big surprises so it was a lot of blah blah blah. To be fair - I liked the Andertons coverage the best - maybe because I enjoy Lee and Pete. And yes - I could tell Lee seemed really tired. I think 24/7 quality youtube content makes show coverage look bad. Lastly - The Game Changer pedals were the coolest thing I saw.
It always bugs me when media goes to NAMM and dose not make content. Ur just in the way then. I watch a lot of smaller channels that would love to go and make content but they don't get the nod
Really dig the Herc in the Susmaryosep, but having those options in an enclosure with two of the best Mythos Pedals is going to be sick!

HA!! Dodgeball reference was great! Literally had a good chuckle on that one.

We’re going to do that!
Every day is NAMM on TH-cam nowadays.
That Epi video was great. Keep auch stuff coming. And I think you’re great at building a community here. You two have a skill there…
I snagged on a studio sig a couple of years ago. I’m a gear rotator because I like to try things. I can’t get rid of that amp. It’s just so dang good.

I really liked the Rivolta Forma series guitars.
Arbys Roastbeef with Chick-fil-a sauce on it. Your welcome. Anyone remember Rax Restaurants?

We will do that eventually. We only work half days and can’t time stamp during the stream
