I have a problem when i use head unit app the qulity of the sound its really low, it sounds really bad, meanwhile when i play spotify installed on the stereo the sound its too much better, any idea or configuration that i can use to make the sound on the head unit reloaded better?
hi i purchase the app and i try wired method but when i plug the type c cable into my Samsung a34 (android 14) the phone shows that android auto is connected and headunit reloaded recognize the phone in usb settings but nothing happens its stays on HUR screen : (( please help

Certain things i can suggest as below - 1) Check whether you're running the latest android auto on your mobile device else update thru playstore 2)While connecting our mobile for the first time there is an access permission message pops up in android headunit within that message there is a check box that says "remember this mobile device" your to check that box and then tap on "OK" button. So it's giving permission to access your phones data and remember it forever. 3) While connecting your mobile thru data cable on you mobile device there are couple of USB option pops up among them select "Transfer Files/Android Auto" option 4) Make sure to use OEM Data cable 5) Subscribe my channel and support me :)

I dont get it. Android auto will work without the android stereo having the android auto chip in it? I have the same maazbeatz stereo that doesnt have Andoid auto or car play. So basically any android strereo will have android auto by just purchasing this app?
I have the paid version and works fine it's just when I receive a call the head unit call app displays over android auto and I can't see the maps. I want it to use the android auto calling. If u know what I mean

Mine work perfectly bt the problem is that i want to split screen in half for that how much pixel density should i type 150 i try many bt not getting half screeen pls tell me how much should i type in pixel density to get half screen
Bro, when we plug in the mobile automatically the screen pops up and maps and music are working fine, but when we switch to radio or some other USB files, how to again come back to Android auto screen. It's not switching back, why?.. we have to again unplug the mobile and plug? Why is that so

My best guess is you have authorize some kinda permission to run the app in the background. Check the permission details both android auto in your phone and HUR app in your android stereo.

In the wired method do we need to keep the hotspot always connected to the android system?

You don't have to. Just sign in with the same gmail ID in the infotainment system play store.

Yes, this app will work on any android stereo. But for apple car play we need the car play dongle which may or may not support in all android stereos.
You can use it wireless as well

I read around in reddit that it defaults to portrait regardless on tablets so there no was of getting the split screen view

No Bro, Can't use apple carplay thru just an app. It does need a carplay dongle to work.

Just tap on the Head Unit Reload App from the app drawer. It will bring back the android auto screen.

Disable battery optimisation for Android Auto in your phone apps settings. Android Auto must be running task in phone.
