Hi. Is it possible to unlock the on road version (48ah) to have a hogher top speed than 55mph?

Hi MNX, we don't currently have any plans to increase the top speed. We've found 57mph has a nice balance between performance and range.

@Caofen UK I get that but if the bike is capable of a higher top speed (as it clearly is) doesn't it make sense to allow the rider to decide? I would feel much safer on the faster uk roads it if it was capable of 65-70

you would drain the battery at record pace. it already will only do about 35-40 miles going the top speed as it is now.@@MNX2WHEELS

@JudeTheTH-camPoopersubscribe it doesn't make sense to make that choice for the user. I should be able to use the full power if I need/desire it. There's a reason it has different power modes. By limiting the top speed when it is capable of more you are just endangering the rider by underpowering it unnecessary.

i suppose so, I've never used mine on a road faster than 50mph and riding it that quick I only get 35 miles ish. good thing about this bike is the range does not change during the colder months which is most of the year here in the uk because it can heat up the battery.@@MNX2WHEELS

Yes, way better than Sur-ron and Talaria. I like the tree options of regen - 0%, 30% and 60% which makes this bike more easy to control
