Some people hate cats because they are independent and think they don't like humans but that isn't always true. Cats are just like us they have personalities and different opinions some can be social others just prefer to be alone. They just don't like the way some humans treat them like dressing them up or treating them like puppets. Cats that are social and sit on your lap means that they feel safe with you. They view themselves as the king and us as the knights which means they love you.

I agree cats have their own personalitys. I have owned many cats and right now I have a Bombay who has attitude loves attention and hates being picked up and then I also have and orange tabby who is a big ole baby who loves being picked up and loves attention and crys as soon as I get home. The Bombay cat is also very vocal but at differnet times.
@@user-oz9sb3kf4u My Burmese didn’t like being picked up, either. He would look at me like, “Do I move you? No. I can move myself.” He was the most affectionate, loyal cat I ever had. He was very small, and fearful of being crushed or dropped. He would cuddle me lying down, sit on my lap, and even held hands like a person. It wasn’t cuddles he didn’t like…he just wanted us to be careful.
I have a Bombay that I rescued as a 8 weeks old kitten that someone dumped out their car in a Walmart parking lot. Now he is a year old. Absolutely beautiful, sweet, always active, smart(he knows how to fetch). So glad I rescued him. Named him Coal

Got my Bombay as an 8 week old. Not the “favorite” of cats I’ve been owned by, BUT very intelligent and dog-like. I can even take her for walks outside without a leash. She rarely goes more than 10m from me and always waits. Also she talks understandably. Very unique cuddle kitty
Note re message below… my “ black panther” is not a certified Bombay but a photo I had posted of him was featured in a detailed article about Bombay cats… and everything about him ( including personality and appearance) is right . So, I “crown” him “ my Bombay baby!”

My Bombay cat was one of the best cats ever I had him for about 17 years. He was the joy of my life. He was my son if anyone should get a cat it should be a black Bombay. My patients passed away a year ago today. She was a 13th year old bombay. I rize her since she was 4 weeks old. I miss her every day 😪 this video was almost like having her here. Thank you for this video

Bombay's r very loyal cats they will follow u every where I got stuck for almost a day because of a transportation issue and she was panicking and worried about me and wouldn't let me go anywhere else with our her
