@@tareefsmith9027 mixing something 6db louder in parallel at 60% with something at unity does not bring the overall level back down to unity. Maybe you missed that part in your studies?
@@lazoo2000 I’ve not checked it out yet. I purchased the V76U73 and really like that. I still think they should have put an output leveler like they have on the V76U73
Impressive piece of kit... Had a lead trumpet that sounded spikey in the mix that I tried to tame with Soothe2 with no success, (might be operator error). Put Big Al on and it was tamed within seconds. Thank you!
Bout to run a few tests for sure but off the top, since the GUI doesn't have an output gain, my first instinct is to run it in parallel, smash the levels, and blend it in. This looks promising!
These demos mean absolutely NOTHING unless you level gain... anyone who thinks they can "listen through" the gain difference is absolutely fooling themselves. It's really frustrating!

@@PluginAllianceTV I understand the intent, and my bank account is evidence that I really do love your plugins lol... all I'm saying is that without level matching, you can't actually see or hear what the plugin is ACTUALLY doing. We all know that even a 1dB increase in gain can significantly alter our psychoacoustic perception of sound, such that anything will sound "better"... richer, fuller, more interesting. I want to hear what the plugins actually DO - and I know they generally have great sonic impact (that's why I own way too many PA plugins!). All I'm asking is that you try to be more genuine and transparent in your demos. Anything else, where you're deliberately allowing the plugin to make the source material louder is not useful at best, and possibly simply disingenuous
Of course every demo you run of this plug will sound better than the dry - you're cranking the gain by 5-6db every time you turn it on
Did you miss the part where he blends the processed signal with the dry at unity gain?

@@tareefsmith9027 sure bud. Whatever makes you happy

Oversampling options?
Wow, this is really good. I rarely hear tube saturation well modeled.
This should have an output level dial to level match ?

4:50 thats animation is epic
That looks like it was edited in movie maker in 2006 haha :D
I bought it, there's fun to be had!
Excellent - enjoy your sessions!
It seems to be great for distorted vocals. Exciting!
Love the way it breaks the vocal

We're glad it helped to save the day. Thanks for your support and sharing your experience!
Hi! Can you explain to me how to enable the mid site configuration? Thanks!
This is actually a feature of the host platform, not the plugin itself. The BIG AL will work in both stereo and M/S environments.
@@PluginAllianceTV Thanks!
How did you create the M/S Mode in the example?
This is actually a feature of the Logic host software.
@@PluginAllianceTV Thank you... I guess I will need to find out how it works! Hard to believe I wouldn't know about this.
@@PluginAllianceTV To create M/S inside Logic you have to select "Dual Mono" as opposed to "Stereo" when instantiating a plugin.

damn fine saturator
Thank you!
I'm sorry but I'm missing an output gain knob. It might be too much to ask for anyway. :)
Ummm you could put a gain knob after it 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ some of you are too lazy
You lost me the moment you made an A/B-comparison with complete different levels ... unprofessional!

@@Gang-25j He's absolutely right my man. This demo is completely worthless without level matching.
this is AA killer, I love the vibe added and the cpu is null
