Thank you for bringing back great fond memories of the most beautiful Uganda where I lived for almost forty years...I love the country, its people and want to go back.
This video is beautifully done. You have captured the beauty of the country I was born in, and thrown out by Idi Amin. I visited it last year after a 40yrs absence. I am surprised you've only had 253 hits. I watched it at least 2 times, thanks for uploading. Zuli
The problem is that when foreigners come to our countries they take advantage of our hospitality n kindness instead of loving us they mistreat us and A in did that out of love for his brothers and sisters who were mistreated and suffering in their own country I just pray that we get another one like him because what he fought for is back again because of Museveni's corruption
Thank you for this beautiful video! I'm always so touched! I stayed there for two years and I felt love with the place and people. May peace be with our planet!
its a very beautiful country granted specially when you affluent enough to enjoy it without the every day task for survival, lets be truthful shall we.....

I really enjoy this video....and even though the music is not from Uganda, it is still a great song....Cannot wait for my next trip to the Pearl of Africa..
I think there's a link to it below the video, where you can buy it on iTunes. I got it off a Putomayo cd with music from Mali. The song is called Fala, by Tom Diakite.
Patrick this is great stuff. It is refreshing from the constant negative images. Please load more of Uganda shots... and the nice music!! (Which camera were you using?)
Glad you like it! More of a videographer and writer, though this was put together before I had any professional training. Thanks for commenting and sharing!
Hi Jason, The song is called "Fala" by Tom Diakite. It's linked in the video description. It's music from Mali, not Uganda (some of my Acholi friends weren't too happy about that), but I just really like the song and think it worked well for this video.
Nice video, offensive remarks? From my experience anything connected with TH-cam and Africa draws offensive remarks CCTV did a video. Were the Chinese where working with Africans to increase rice production in Sierra Leone the video attracted so many racist remarks CCTV had to pull it down. Makes you wonder what they really thing of westerners.
I was writing about Africans generally I've seen videos about doing business in Africa nothing to do with race and straight away they attract racist remarks. Many have had to have the comments section closed or the video pulled as in the case of CCTV John Wayne? Worrying a white man living in Uganda using such a vile racist man as a signature name. Maybe perhaps you should consider Serbia, Latvia or some parts of UK were whatever is in your head is welcome rather than living in Africa.
Oh yes, He hated Communists, Socialsim he didn't even like the European social model because like most Americans he thought it was Socialist? Which is isn't. He hated black people with a passion and made few attempts to hide it the man hated everybody who wasn't a right wing reactionary he hated the Vietnam anti war movement too. I don't respect the man.
