Actually this never happened in real life,but Hurrem was out of her mind with this last thing they did to her. I mean she was put in jail,beat up,called names,exiled,threatened,poisioned and watch them plan to get Suleyman with other woman. So this one was I guess the last straw and couldnt keep it together.

For me Hurrem is a dark character. I still don't understand why people phrase her
She has done lots of damages to others for her existence
They are worse they started it. Hatice deserved it.
You mean how she helped Hatice avoid marriage to an old fart, and coerced the Sultan to let her marry the guy she was obsessed with instead? Or how she revived a child born not breathing for Hatice? Or how she overthrew Mahi just like Mahi replaced Gulphem after the death of her child? Or how she let Hatice know her dear husband betrayed her with a Kalfa?
First of all there the one that started it with her so really who is to blame them hurrem was a good person till the others turned there backs on her
And all the beatings happens, but nobody seeing or hearing!

Then, Hurrem REVIVED a stillborn child, only for Hatice to blame her when SHE suffocated it. She LOVED reminding Hurrem that she was merely a servant, just like she even reminded her "dear" husband.
