Memphis barking at her reflection has come full circle for her barking at the oven for her food that's soaking. It's like she knew the oven was going to tease her from the start! lol

I have pet an opossum before! At a wildlife reserve in San Diego years ago. It was a young one, and it was surprisingly soft. I’m willing to bet an adults fur wouldn’t be as soft.

Stewart is such a cutie, all the howling brought my cairn mix in, she 17 maybe 😂, had a possum encounter a few weeks ago here in Illinois, had a weird bark, then I saw it behind our outdoor grill, grabbed her😅 thankfully a scared possum meant it stood still
I remember there was another opossum video from about 10 years ago, when Shelby and Oakley were still alive.
The harmonica woke my husky out of a dead sleep. He flew to the tv, threw his head back, and woo'd at the top of his lungs. I haven't lauged that hard in so long. Thank you for the woo's :)
I'm surprised that with Stuart's apparent ball obsession that his DNA analysis didn't indicate any presence of either Golden Retriever, or Lab., Retriever in him, because both breeds mostly seem to be extremely ball-obsessed, particularly for tennis balls.

Possums are adorable but they do bite. There is a big one that comes up on our front porch a lot looking for cat food. I feed my outdoor cats on the porch and sometimes they leave crumbs. I got a big kick out of Stewart barking at his reflection and looking so confused. I don't think your brother will like it if you teach Stewart how to howl. Or will he? lol

Thanks for making my day. Kira and Eleanor were singing, Memphis was posing for Play Puppy, and Stuart was confused. Seeing Memphis barking at her reflection was so cute. My beagle was afraid of her reflection. Such a beautiful memory to have. 😂❤❤❤❤

I think regarding the Opossum, for the fact that it's nearly Autumn at this point had it been a female with babies in tow, I feel like those babies by now would have been big enough to be riding along on Mama's back instead of hiding inside her pouch.

I used to get possums in my grain barrel n I'd have to put Handel of my shovel n it would wrap its tail on Handel then I move momma out n use shovel to get out babies. it happened lijev4 times n she hiss n scream at me I started putting lil bit of cattle feed in the trough 3 eed lots over n they stayed out of my shed n feed bin

Years ago, I had 2 female cats and where I was living at the time, we also had a mirrored sliding closet door in one of the back bed-rooms that they each would see their own reflections in, and react to. Mischief, my Manx Cat and the older of the 2 would mostly see herself and just growl at, swearing it was another kitty, probably coming to harass the crap out of her, she could have been The Only domestic cat living on planet Earth, and been Very Happy, she really didn't get along with most other animals, period. My other cat Baby on the other had, pretty much exact polar-opposite of that, if you're familiar at all with the character of Nermal, from the Garfield comic strips in the newspapers, who was supposed to be, "The World's Cutest Kitty-Cat," my Baby was the closest I've ever witnessed or experienced to a true living personification to that. To this day I still refer to her as, " The Perennial Kitten," because she never got any heavier than 7 pounds in weight, Adored being petted, and touched, and loved-on by people, and I don't think she had Ever Encountered A Single Living Thing That She Didn't Like, Period. Her reaction to seeing her own reflection in this mirror was usually to sit there looking and meowing at it like she wanted the other kitty there to come to life, so it could come out & play with her, I actually even caught her on a couple of occasions when this mirrored-sliding closet door was partly open, up on her hind feet, looking back behind the closet door, so that she could find her kitty friend back there and get to play with it for real, instead of it always being stuck in there where they could physically interact with each other. Now how she was able to comprehend that the kitty she was looking for must be behind that closet door, but yet Not get that it was Her Own Reflection, is Still Beyond Me, and I had her put down at age 16 back in August of 2004, so some 20 odd years ago. I just reason it now that that knowledge must just simply be above my pay grade, and leave it at that.

I'm not sure Stuart, (or Stewart, which ever spelling accurately applies here), is quite in touch with his Husky side just yet, maybe the more time he spends around your girls will eventually bring that out in him.

So. I adopted an anatolian mix two years ago and my now ex wife beat the woooos out of him and it absolutely broke my heart. when Stewart had some baby woos my pup also woooed. I cried happy tears.
