Jag minns hur hon var en väldigt polariserande artist inom hiphop communityt i Sverige när hon blev känd. Hon sågs mer som en mainstream pop artist än en hiphop artist och i kombination med endel onödigt tjafs så tror jag det var orsaken att hon var en on hit wonder. . Om hiphop Sverige inte stod bakom en artist så var det svårt att lyckas. Feven var väldigt mycket en stockholmsartist som många hiphopare utanför sthlm kände var en artist musikbolagen försökte tvinga på. Ska även tilläggas att det var väldigt svårt för artister från sthlm att bli accepterade utanför Stockholm. She also used so much slang that even the most slang-using heads started making fun of it. It even started getting made fun of on TV at the time.
Oj vad fel do har? Hon hade kontrakt med wu tang clan bia och konserter med dom för 60 tusen, med på deras låtar plus andra typ 5 -6 var intresserede i USA... Och hade petter bakom sig som var störst i Sverige då. Men inte många som stått på scen med större artister
Intressant, för jag minns knappt hennes musik, men har ändå positiva associationer till Feven sen jag var yngre... Måste ha gillat det undermedvetet. Kanske borde kolla upp denna skivan. :P

Feven perfomed this song att Grammis-galan in february 2001 and was really embarrising with her extreme slang (cringe as hell). Later the same evening, SVT showed the humorprogram "Roligt Elakt Aktuellt" där komikern Babben Larsson performed a parody called "Tvättstugans 10 budord" (and rap about rules about doing the laundry).

I feel like I can trust that you haven't actually heard the songs that you react to. That's unlike people like jayveeTV which I don't really trust because he's reacting to songs that like 100% of people on earth has heard, and he doesn't give any explanation how he hasn't heard of people like Cyndi Lauper or even famous people like Led Zeppelin. I appreciate that I feel I can trust you.
There's no such thing as a song 100% of people have heard. America is a big country with a lot more different radio channels and subcultures than we grew up with in Sweden, and you'll find plenty of Swedish people who've never listened to Cindy Lauper or Led Zeppelin. A lot of people are only interested in one genre. A lot of people aren't that interested in music at all.

We do have actual rappers, both female and male. What she does is try to stumble through verses deliberately trying to make it sound like she’s reading it from a paper for the first time. An interesting take, not unheard of in graffiti circles but more rare in music (som ’broken voice’ emotional indie singer songwriter exceptions) and is very, Very rare in rap as flow is usually one of the absolute key features rap singers train on and take pride in, and she has about as much flow at rolling a led brick. It’s her style, and it is unique, and can be seen as cool avant garde, but she’s generally seen as a disgrace to the Swedish rap scene and really is skipped when talking about our music history.
