Hi Felicia, I ordered this sending unit from Speedway motors. Sorry it took me so long to reply. Golden Star GT03-682S 1968-1972 Chevelle 3/8 In Fuel Tank Sending Unit
finding the correct vented cap was challenging, I ended up trying several and found this one that works from amazon Golden Star Auto GT01-691C Fuel Cap
HI... Did you include a return fuel line from the pump....the LS6/SS had this.... I only noticed one fuel line running up the right hand side. YOU SEEM TO HAVE EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKING GOOD The new gauge cluster reflected an SS option Also do you have the cowl activator controls!
can't confirm what the car used to be but pretty sure it was a L78 396 car. Here is what I read about fuel return line. NO L78 396's had return lines, and they all used a short fuel pump, numbered 40727.
This was the most thorough gas stank installation video I've seen yet. It's really helped me. Thanks!
You know I remember doing the same crazy when you can easily hold it up with a jack lol by the way the tank neck looked awful low to the bumper?
"Is this a two person job? Yeah, probably" hahaha That was entertaining to watch, but surprised you pulled it off! Atta boy!
Where did you order the rubber pads to prevent noise?

You can also find these at OPGI or Speedway motors.
What fuel sending unit did you use? We are trying to find one without a return line or vent. Thanks!
