Volvo 740 B230 carburator engine running idle

The engine you'll see in this video is from my own Volvo 740 GL sedan with AW71 automatic gearbox, made in 1984 (ModelYear 1985). The engine is a B230K (the famous Volvo B230 redblock) with a Pierburg carburator which has an automatic choke. As you can hear the engine isn't perfectly running idle and the fan is making too much noise. But the previous owner already replaced it (you can see the shiny bolts in this video). Very strange! The fuel consumption of the Volvo 740 is very poor (it uses 1 litre per 7.4 kilometres while driving longer distances and that's way too thirsty). There's a lot of work to be done!
