Honestly Pendulum is much better off without Electrumite. Now it is not combo "pendulum" it is Endymion, Odd-eyes, etc. Playing against Pure Endymion is fantastic, actual back and forth, longer games, etc.
@@pickyphysicsstudent201 I can't remember who said it but they described Electrumite as a way to make every pendulum card in your deck good and have the same eff. "Pop this card to search and draw 1." Basically what it changed them to. And I more-so hated that it was just "oh I get hand trapped once or twice and I end on something like Electrumite pass." Or they just set up too many negates to break through so you scoop. And they normally auto-lose going second. That is just not fun to play against or interesting to watch. There is a reason that at the PPG's the fastest rounds are when there are pendulum duels, people scoop by turn 3 at the latest in that matchup. Now there is a lot more thinking to it and it is more unique. Spell counters were a cool idea back in the day, horribly executed, but great idea. Now it has been made into a functioning and interesting deck that takes full advantage of that gimmick.
So yeah, after watching it back i realise that if i detatch the soulkeis off the beatrice instead of the malicious i could then use soulkeis to discard the dyna and graff and use that to make one of the link 2 for avramax, so yeah beatrice could also have been on the board
2nd game i could also have linked cir and gigantes into cerb, revive cherub, other gigantes and cherub into unicorn, beatrice and uni into avramax. Then block cerb and saryuja make apollousa, then tgu and terrortop make leviair for dyna. I played these pretty badly whoops.
Only 1 min in, but Ive been playing block BA for a while (since early 2019 when Snow got banned). I feel like alot of this deck is manipulating your RNG to reduce bad outcomes. Personally I would always just normal tourguide first (with this hand), to play around milling/drawing either Cir or Graff with Gallis/Snek. If it gets hand trapped you have enough extenders to keep playing with just those 2 cards + the potential snek draw/rhino discard. You really only need 3 lvl 3 monsters to get your plays going. This might sound crazy, but the odds of hitting those cards (Graff or Cir) are 2/35 + 2/34 which is roughly 11%, so it's not THAT crazy. In general I always keep 2 rules in this deck; the first priority is to get graff+cir out of my deck (If possible). And to do that you want to see as little cards from your deck as possible (eg. in the past I wouldnt sekkas until after dumping graff unless I HAD to) After that I'm going to decide how I want to make my curious (Earth or Dark) and how I can get there as efficiently as possible. After that you should have enough resources to just play out the rest. And always try to minimize your bad RNG. (Eg. I saw you make curious in a stream once with mali while you had soulkius on the board and you milled your 3rd mali and scooped. Though if you made Beatrice first, detached mali and summoned the last one you'd minimize your bad rng and get a "free" foolish out of it aswell) Just giving some tips. Love your content!
In the first combo he could have ended with a block dragon in addition to what he did if he used soulkius to pitch the dyna and graff to summon itself and used the soulkius as material instead of block dragon.
Monsters summoned by tour guide have their effect negated so they don't destroy themselves. Later the b.a. monsters are placed at Cherubini's arrows and Cherubini prevents monsters he points to from being destroyed by card effects, even b.a. inherent destruction
6:07 I'd highly recommend Cyberse Quantum Dragon as well which can be easily summoned using destrudo, since it is one of the most broken cards for boards like this, it literally makes everything you have untargetable. Also, you always want to end up with a Block on field as it makes fossil immune to destruction.
