My dad was an old "Dragliner", back in the 70's 80's amd early 90's he bailed a lot of muck, and gravel, with an old NW 190. I believe it ran a GM diesel. Is that engine a C-12 Cat?
Please please stop the stupid music. Talk explain let us know your thought process. Watch vive grip garage for tuition. Or Curtis cutting aus. Gave up lost it.

The old NW with twin disk clutch PTO chain drive High idle was only 1200 RPM those engines would never washout
This is good stuff. I work on boats. So crazy
Great video, but the music takes a couple points off the score.
Let us have more videos men.
Not bad for a cat c13 that sat for 17 years.... at least it will be saved from the scrap yard....
Don’t use starter fluid, just soak a cloth rag with gas ⛽️ put over air intake . Work better them starter fluid . 😊
Yes,,just never rag directly in intake.
I hate ether with a vengeance……. Once you start using it, you will need it forevermore
It does work very well.

The bees probably protected it from the scrappers
I hope they weren't those African bees.
Re-powered from a 2 stroke Detroit at some point?
Yep!
Detroit? I thought NW used Murphy engines. Or was that just in the 80D? Or Perhaps in the later years I suppose Murphy was no more.
@@warrenjones744 the one I ran was a Murphy Diesel. Pretty much all did. Was surprised to see a CAT.
Thanks for the video but I'd prefer it without the music.
