WILCO is the Mozart of your time., PAY ATTENTION. This doesn't happen often.Jay Farrar eat your heart out...you never should have shunned Jeff for the talents he gave...
@FatmanCaufield funny you mention it, I have just recently become obsessed with Zevon, I'm 33, and I have no idea how he slipped through my fingers.... He's so brilliant!
@FatmanCaufield Yeah, last year Zevon was one of my favourite artists, just because he wrote songs that were really dark or sardonic. Now this year is Wilco, having finally listened to a different album besides just Yankee Hotel Foxtrot last year.
@FatmanCaufield I think Letterman likes Wilco because Wilco likes Warren Zevon, who was Letterman's best friend, and they kinda write off-country songs like Zevon.
um......hello!! his name is Jeff Tweety!!!! duh.....and what is that supposed to mean that he 'visibly uncomfortable without a guitar'? he plays guitar all the time!!!!! and hes very good at it too!!!!!!!! GOSH!!!
By visibly uncomfortable i don't mean he is a bad guitar player. In fact, more or less the opposite. I am saying that when he doesn't have a guitar (since he usually does), he acts a bit more awkward on stage. And in all honesty, i wasn't trying to knock the band. I love these guys, it was just something i noticed while watching the video. Sorry if that sounded like i was insulting them.
i love this song the only problem...you can tell the singer (whose name i cant recall) is visibly uncomfortable without a guitar. nevertheless, one of their best songs
Ugh. I love Wilco, but this song is such a mess. It's all over the place. I like the last 30 seconds of it, but it just didn't fit with the rest of the song.
I have never seen Jeff performing without a guitar. Also amazing that this lineup is still intact some 11 years later.
2020 checking in. Lineup is still kicking and I'm so grateful.
One of the GREATEST SONG,And the most rare that Jeff without a guitar☆
I can't separate them and Radiohead. They do totally different things so well. Music would be depressing these days without them.
Ok
That last bridge thing is very very ELO.
One of these bands who are so good live, it's hard to go back to listening to them on cd after seeing them in concert.
I like how happy Jeff seems.
One of my fav songs :)

@FatmanCaufield funny you mention it, I have just recently become obsessed with Zevon, I'm 33, and I have no idea how he slipped through my fingers.... He's so brilliant!
Just bought tickets to Americanarama Festival of Music! Wilco, MMJ, and Dylan....*sigh*
@FatmanCaufield Yeah, last year Zevon was one of my favourite artists, just because he wrote songs that were really dark or sardonic. Now this year is Wilco, having finally listened to a different album besides just Yankee Hotel Foxtrot last year.
This is such a nice song. and what a great performance. they seemed to have skipped ireland on the sky blue sky tour :(
I believe Letterman loves Wilco. Everytime I search their live performances, there's tons from 'Late Night'.
@FatmanCaufield I think Letterman likes Wilco because Wilco likes Warren Zevon, who was Letterman's best friend, and they kinda write off-country songs like Zevon.
Dammit! They totally don't show Jeff doing his cute Hummingbird dance. I die for that dance.
This is far better than the (also very good) Studio performance !
whoa. its so weird seeing tweety without a guitar.
@Bottlerocket5555 so true ..greatest band ever! i cant wait to see them in 3 weeks in Hollywood!! :D
1 of the best so gs by the best band
that¡s a kick ass jazzmaster
wow, people get SO excited.
Genius.

Said the guy with the word hipster in his username. Seruously, wilco might b 2 mainstream ot whatever for u, but theyr my favorite band. Period.
i love this song
the only problem...you can tell the singer (whose name i cant recall) is visibly uncomfortable without a guitar.
nevertheless, one of their best songs
@ragulikethesauce I like DMB and Wilco. Great bands!
@adamjamfan Specifically, Lennon.
whatever, that frees him up to do his little hummingbird dance (at 2:39)
Hahha good call.
I prefer the Born Ruffians Hummingbird
@JFISHAUF or Beatles...
@Bottlerocket5555
I do like how there are only 2 who 'dislike'. I hope they get to meet each other and hang out and enjoy how anti-Wilco they are.
Ugh. I love Wilco, but this song is such a mess. It's all over the place. I like the last 30 seconds of it, but it just didn't fit with the rest of the song.
This band is so overrated that it's almost beyond words.
