- This pass crossing was a little surprisingly “white” for us. After an overnight stay right at the pass, we head up the mountain where there is more snow with every meter of altitude and the temperature goes towards 0 °C.
No wonder - there was a sudden onset of winter in the region the day before. But turning back wasn't an option and we were actually glad that the pass wasn't closed.
The crossing was therefore special, please take a look and see for yourself.

Gefühlt hast Du mit dem Schnee eher nicht gerechnet, was ich durchaus nachvollziehen kann. Aber so sinds, die Berge... ;-)

Danke Christian ! Ja Du hast vollkommen Recht so sind die Berge und das war auch nicht das erste mal wo ich so etwas erlebt habe. Tag davor hat es stark geregnet, was in der zweiten September Hälfte schon Schnee bedeuten kann. Ich war einfach nur froh, dass der schöne Bernina auf war und es war auch toll.
