Feral pride is taking a short Hiatus. What does that mean exactly? Well, I'll still be working on the show but not at the same pace. I'm slowing things down as I'm too busy to make the show my main focus. So expect a longer waiting time. How long? I don't know whenever I get to finishing it. Please stop asking me "When is the next Episode" I have a life you know. If you knew how long even a simple animation like this took you wouldn't be so impatient.

*goes in the room* "come now, dear huata...just...pushing her back in?!" *shakes head in disbelief* "that simply will not do...that will not do at all...if you wanna get REAL revenge..." *smiles sadistically, and pulls out a grenade* >:) "...go all the way!" >:D *walks up to the hole* "oh, I got something anemy can munch on, dogs...really big...>:) she won't HAVE to starve...this treat's to DIE for... >:)" *is at the hole and she sees me* "hey, anemy, my little wolf...! >:D I got a little TREAT for you...! a very SPICY one that you can munch on! >:D" *pulls the pin out and tosses the grenade down into the hole and runs for it*
anemy: *gasps* 8O *the grenade explodes, making a massive KABOOM!*
*I go up to the hole again and see the bloodied carcass* "there, now! ^o^ that's a much prettier look for you! ^_^ and at least she's out of not HER misery, but OUR misery. yup. my job's done." *smiles a gleeful sadistic and triumphant look, and walks out* "you're welcome, fellow anemy haters." ;)

Feral Pride FAQ
Q) When will the next episode of Feral Pride be released?
A) Simply put, whenever I finish it. What you have to understand is I have a real job and responsibilities outside of Feral Pride. While I'd love to focus full time on the show It's not possible for me at this moment. Please be patient and understand that this is a one man show. I don't have tons of money, animators, writers, storyboard artist and time to put into it. Expect episodes out in a 2-4 month release schedule, that's subject to change of course.
Q) Is the show ending?
A) The show is not ending, I actually have 2 seasons planned. Just because the show has not updated in a few months does not mean it's over it just means it's in production. If I ever decide to stop the show or take a break I will make sure my subscribers and VAs know about it.
Q)What programs do you use for your animations?
A) Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 9 for drawing/animating. I use a combination of Windows movie maker(video editing) and Imovie(for sound editing). I do not recommend this unless you're on a budget and have no other means.
Q) Why is there no Lipsync?
A) Because it was my artistic choice not to. I was inspired by wolf's rain and other japanese anime, in a lot of those shows the animals don't move their mouths they talk telepathically or through body language. Originally I wanted to convey more movement to my characters but given my quick releases schedule(yes, it's quick for amtuer animation) I decided to use mostly still frames.
Q) Can My character be on the show?
A) Probably not... Sorry, I have my story and characters already planned.
Q) Do you need voices for pups?
A) Sure, when I need them I'll start up auditions, that goes for any other new characters as well.
Feral Pride Nice effort...but give a week or two and they'll be at it again, its just what happens
How long does it take to make a video such as animation not the uploading
Usually it takes 2- 3 months, It depends on how long the script is and how much free time I have.
I don't have Wolfstar005 in my cast. Which dog do you think sounds like her?

Yes the artist of the credit artwork has confirmed to me that they did use Off-white as a reference. I decided to trim the credits as much as I could to remove the image which will be credited. There is still one second of the image, as youtube would not let me trim it all which will be credited to Off- white. I don't want to offend the viewership and the orginal artist whom I respect. That was a really good episode i was not expecting that. well can't wait to see what you do for the next episode I really hope he water takes her sisters place and other the other guy takes the other office but I really want to see that but other than that this was a really good episode I liked it.

Misset Jhonnas You really brought this episode together with your voice acting performance as Nova. She turned out to be a really interesting character and I'm definitely going to miss writing for her. Who knows... Hey, I have a question… In this episode Hinto states "I'm not my father" what does he mean? Wasn't Hinto's father and mother the Alphas of Dasker's previous pack, as seen in a flashback in another episode? In the flashback, Dasker seemed to greatly respect Hinto's parents, so why does Hinto say he thinks badly of him based off his father? I don't know if I just don't understand… But I was just curious.
dasker and hinto are brothers and their dad was mean and violent so they hated him

So fab girl! I love it! I know your job is making it hard for you to keep up in the animating. But dont let that stop you from anything! Keep your head high and stay proud to be an animator on TH-cam! I still feel funny how Ash slept through the entire fight scene!
I got three days off in a row so I'm happy^^. It's just gets so stressful at times and when I get home I'm very tired and I don't feel like doing anything, that's the main problem. But I needed the extra hours and It definitely helped me out a lot financially. haha I just didn't know what she would do in this episode, the script was already bloated as it is, but don't worry Ash will get her chance to shine at some point XD Thanks, I'm not going to let the stress get me down the show will go on!
Good! And lol! Im sure she will shine! After all, she is the beta! XD Just give it all you got in both your job and animating! Both ways will turn out great! :)
Feral Pride Why did Dasker attack Hinto? He didn't do anything wrong.
Hannah Wilson He thinks Hinto will try to mate with one of the females while he's gone, which made him angry. Dasker does not trust Hinto because Hinto wants to take over his pack. Hinto already challenged him before, so Dasker rightfully feels insecure in his status as alpha male.

Hinto is a great wolf is he going to be mates with Huwada and be the alpha I'm so exited for the next thew episodes and is animi going to fight with Huwada
wonderful series! have you ever thought of writing a book? this story reminds me of the quality of stories like the sight and tooth and claw. I really like how the wolves show wolf behavior and i like how you took a natural occurrence like albinoism and made it slightly supernatural
unpleasant pheasant I've considered it although I never really thought myself a strong writer, more of an ideas kinda person.Thanks! It's fun to write from an animal's perspective to imagine what they think and how they react, not too many shows/books do that. Animal characters are anthropomorphised so much as to almost be humans with animal aesthetics, not that thats a bad thing. I'm glad to hear that other people also enjoy this kinda storytelling. BTW I'm a fan of your animations, keep up the great work as well^^

Why was Dasker so upset that Trot left Hinto alone with the females? Was it for mating purposes?
yep, as he is the alpha, he alone is allowed to mate with females, to produce stronger and healty pups. as those pups will have to take over the pack

I was thinking that in episode 8 or 9. That Dasker (sorry I don't know much of there names) will make the black wolf with blue eyes mad that they would start fighting. The white wolf will see them fight and break them up with her magic. Dasker will see that she's very important and start grooming her. Ameny will show up (she will be almost ready to give birth) and see her mate falling in love with The white wolf. When she will be about to attack the white wolf the black one gets in front of her and protects her. Dasker will say the shed not the Alpha Female no more because she's rude and bossy and not a good alpha female. Ameny will remind him about there pups. He will say that there r not he's no more. Dasker will say that The white wolf will be the New Alpha Female. But the black one stands up and says the he's in love with The white wolf too. They start fighting to see who will be Alpha Male.

Kyle Jordan Sorry didn't mean to upset you. What I meant by it was that you and Mike did such a great job conveying such a strong friendship, especially in a playful manner, that it came off as an adorable pair that were so close they seemed like brothers. Great acting on your parts and the rest of the cast. The shipping was more so just a playful joke based off of the close bonds your characters had. Again, sorry if it bothered you, hope you feel better soon.

Nice one! I can see animation improvement and the voice acting is really good.
If I could have one nitpick for feedback it's that maybe you should try not to make what you are referencing as obvious. Like the credits picture is CLEARLY traced/redrawn from Off-White page 270 (then again, it seems like someone else did the credit picture) and there are some other parts that look pretty familiar. This isn't a bad thing, don't get me wrong, referencing is one of the best way to learn animation, but I've been recommended loosely referencing by some animators, so I guess I could also recommend that for you :3
I did not draw the credit artwork but that was the concept I asked for, Huata In a fetal position. If It looks referred or traced then that was beyond my knowledge at the time. Thanks for letting me know. As for the use of referencing/tracing in my animations I do occasionally use them from cartoon/movies or real animal footage usually anime, but never fellow independent animators. It's actually not that uncommon for animations to do that especially in Japan. I prefer to come up with unique animations and the majority are, but given the time frame releases that's not always possible. For me personally the story is most important when it comes to this project rather than the animation. The animation is just a palatable device to demonstrate how a show like this could be. Hope that clears some things up for you. Thanks for watching I appreciate your viewership and kind words.

I don't want to have to reupload the episode but I will give credit to Off- White for the credit artwork. I have expressed my concerns to the artist that "drew" The picture for me I'm awaiting a response. Thanks for letting me know. I use to read the Off-white comics, the last thing I want is to seem like I'm purposely trying to rip- off it in anyway.

Feral Pride Haha, it's cool :) Glad that you're willing to cooperate. And yes, don't worry, referecing is a great way of learning. I agree partially on your arguement on the story, it's true. The only point I was making that maybe you might want to reference a bit more loosely since it shows when you reference. It's not a bad thing, I do it myself, but I usually try to add more of my own imput to it to make it look more unique than the way you do it.But everyone has their own ways. Thanks for crediting Off-White. (I'm a big fan of the comic :3)
