My heart goes out to you Andy. I lost my Dad in 95 , I was 25 at the time. Devastated our family . Still miss him terribly all these years later. Especially hurts that my kids will not know Him in this life. But there’s always joy in the hurt. He was an amazing man , Father and friend . We’ll see them again

Well designed pedalboard, very flexible and sounds really fantastic. However, the wiring, setup, and workflow really made me appreciate my Helix and Quad Cortex. I know digital isn't quite there yet, but it's close enough to be pretty useful, especially given the number of digital pedals on this board.

Hands down, I've had the RJM , The GigRig is noticeably more transparent. I have G2. I am going to down size as well and get the Atom soon! Just wish I could play half as good as Andy Wood !

I have a zuma powering a G3 and I’ve never had the power draw on start up confound the zuma. Is it more of an atom problem? I hope that never happens. Now I’m wondering where I stored that ugly gig rig generator brick 🤔

Time will help though I really enjoyed the video and wondered if you wouldn't mind sharing what the other channel delay was, you said 375 on one side. I play in a single guitar band and am experimenting with stereo delays to fatten my sound

Judging by the pics from xts and labels and stuff. In the loops are the comp. Gearbox. Shiba. EQ. Pantheon and fuzz. It goes out mono into mobius then stereo to timeline and reverb
Awesome. But, though I am and never could be of your caliber , wouldn’t using a Fractal Audio product, or something of that quality, make things soooo much easier for live work especially. I switched years ago because the price of tubes for a working shlub was just pissing me off. The sound , ease of use and versatility,to me and many others, is unparalleled. So why not? Please explain because I am apparently missing something 😁

Great pedalboard! Really informative watching the build. Stupid question, what’s the green pedal(I guess the fuzz)? Also with you liking Suhr, have you ever tried the Riot? I have one, it’s a go to of mine for lead work.
@@andywoodmusic cool that is kind of what I thought was the case - only thing is, can the GigRig give you loop on/off with the footswitches, like the RJM can do in ‘Loops’ mode? It seems like the GigRig might be a little more locked into Presets?

Dual Delay in 3/4 config.: 1/4 + 1/8 dot (quarter) is good but I suggest you to try another setting: 4/3 config 1/8 dot + 1/4 (dotted)...

RJM can “do more” gig rig is easier to use. Honestly I like the gig rig a bit better, I don’t use half of what the RJM is capable of.
