I buy a lot of men's clothes: t-shirts button-ups, and tennis shoes since I am 6' tall and Plus size. And I find men's clothes more interesting. With the color choices and accessories I can wear them without looking masculine.
I really like this guy he doesn't tell you to just buy expensive clothes instead he tells u it's okay to buy secondhand stuff and I appreciate that cuz not everyone can afford of stuff and alternative subcultures are about diy anyways it really shows that he knows what he's talking about : )
Yeah DIY is super important with these subcultures. Channels like Reptil DIY are perfect for this, he’s a lifelong punk and has a lot of good tutorials for clothing and accessories.

For my outfit I have mostly denim, my metallica wristband along with my slayer wristband with a secret compartment, a sick metal shirt, and my battle jacket...I also have my Metallica shoes, and I also have my camo cargo pants, with my POSTAL Dude alien head shirt, and sunglasses along with a jacket and metallica shoes (at the moment).
I were my Band shirts pants when it's cold and shorts when its hot but what i want to start doing is Make a battle jacket and were any metal and rock shirt's of any rock or metal genre and get those leather gloves what 80s teenage metal heads would wear and any type of shoes like Vans Converse all Stars or Nike Adidas under armor shoes and i need to start wearing jeans i only wear them at party's

I normally wear band shirts and so many belts if I have a same color shirt with either black and gold or black and red I wear hats that match it but for black and white shirts I wear a black and white hat along with bracelets and hoodies that match my pants, sometimes I mix it up with different colors
that black scarf is a great idea for us non-smokers cause it keeps the smell and smoke of the cigaretes away...on Metaldays is reccomanded cause almost everyone smokes and it's crap if you don't have a scarf with you

DIY everything humanly possible punks mostly don't like to support big corporations so by local or DIY 3.) find your thing and go with it you apart of the LGBTQIA+ community? great go with it Jewish? there's a whole subculture for you or just find a title that you like (emo, punk, goth, scene etc.) or don't and go with it 4.) the last tip is mix and match you like emo and scene your scemo now. combined it all to find your alt fasion. happy crafting and rock on!

Well for the way I dress I get my inspiration from Phillip Anselmo how he used to dress from in the late 90's to the late 2000's I usually try to somewhat replicate his look from that time
I like the Iron Maiden t-shirt. Really reminds me of synthwave music/outrun aesthetic, maybe because of neon colors. As a metalhead I'm planning to change my style to more black metal/gothic visual kei style. I've been a fan of these two for a long time so why not embracing the style. Eventually I'll do a more deathcore/death metal style. You know those earrings, mouth piercing, long hair, brown cargo pants/shorts and of course band t-shirts. I think I'll embrace the second style, it's cheaper.

My outfit is almost always oversized black denim jacket with rips, light coloured cargo's and black kombat boots. If it's cold i'l wear a hoody if it's not cold i'l wear a distressed band teeshirt.

As a guy metalhead I wear vinyl pants, patent leather boots with my band shirts and battle jacket. But for the pants and boots I get called g@y for it..... I personally like the glossy style more than matte leather

I'm right with you, what makes it even harder is that I wear plus sizes.
For me, band tees or cool graphic tees are always too baggy and have a masculine fit so I sometimes cut them
I think one of the biggest benefits of alt clothing is that it's mostly gender neutral. It gives you a lot more options for your own style
