evening Greg, looks like a crackin' bit of kit, can't wait to see what you capture and who might start to use it - hopefully this year :) awesome review.
Thanks! It's actually something I've wanted to get for ages, so I was really happy when BirdKiss reached out to me. Hopefully I'll get a new resident soon.
Well done Greg. Looks pretty decent. Interesting about the solar panel for which a south facing wall would be ideal. However that would not be ideal for the nestbox as the occupants would be prone to overheating. Probably an east facing wall would be a reasonable compromise - sheltered from prevailing south-westerly winds but accessible to the morning sun. Fingers crossed for nesting season! BTW - you might be able to get a replacement battery for your drill, depending on make / model / age. Cheers buddy! 👍🤓👍
@@benicio1967 I guess it's possible. I'm not sure how big an opening a squirrel can fit into, but I imagine it's pretty small. The opening is metal, so they won't be able to chew it to make it bigger. How I have positioned mine, I don't think there's any way for a squirrel to get into it as I have nothing for them to climb up on. I've not had an issue with them, but if you position it in a place where they can easily access it, then they might be curious.
Hey Greg I was wondering if you had any video samples from the camera inside the nestbox to see the video quality. Thanks for making this video I am consdering getting on of these
You could take a look at the bird feeder video I did, it has exactly the same camera and there's more camera footage in that video. th-cam.com/video/yIgXlgVkugM/w-d-xo.html
@GregsWildlife yes sorry I've seen your other video already and the quality looks great but I'm certain that's due to it having all the natural light from being outside. I'm curious to how it performs in low light inside the nestbox. I've also reached out to their customer support page to see if they have anything. Much appreciated and thank you for the reply
I'm not sure. I couldn't find the product online either. I've emailed the sales rep to provide me with a link so as soon as he does, I'll update the video description.
Not on this channel. But have you seen my gaming channel? Greg's Games. I do have some ASA videos on there, and I do plan on doing more when I have time.

@@GregsWildlife its great when we finally get our hands on something we've wanted for ages.
really excited to see some guests!
Me too! No one has looked yet, but hopefully some birds will find it.
@@GregsWildlife i would hope so, after all the trouble😓
Ok let's go! My 4 year old boy has tadpoles right now your tadpole video is how I found your channel still recommended the Spinach for tadpoles?
Yes, spinach is still my top recommended food.

Hopefully the position I've put it in will be okay. I Don't really have any other walls suitable.
So exciting!
I hope I get visitors!
@@GregsWildlifeI was just wondering if you might know if squirrels will bother these houses or the nests?

Any birds make this home yet?
Not yet. I'm hoping for some activity over the winter as birds scout out nesting sites.
Why am I not seeing this on the website? Only see feeders.

@@GregsWildlife thank you very much.
Any chance of ark survival ascended
