the tutrial file only contains the spline rectangles and nothing else, where can I find the file containing the whole setup? I'm having difficulty getting some parts of the tutrial done

I have three questions. Does Railclone come with predesigned buildings and houses? Can you design buildings and houses using Railclone? Can you import buildings and houses created in ZBrush into Railclone? I will appreciate if you could reply asap.

Hi, thanks for the questions. RailClone does not currently come with buildings and houses in its library though it can be used to create them as long as they fit into its modelling paradigm. Any model can be used inside Railclone, so as long as you can export the model from ZBrush to 3DS Max you should be fine. Lol if u have one or more( one is more than enough) sharp angle in your path spline, prepare for overdetailed geometry glitches and scene crash. good luck

Hi! The best way to avoid that is to ensure all Segments have Slice and Bend disabled and that the generator's bevel mode is set to "none". In that way, no geometry is bent or sliced and full instancing is retained. It is true though that this works best on angles close to 90 degrees because buildings are not being edited to fit around the corners, only distributed along the spline. If this doesn't help, drop us an email at [e-mail] and we can take a look.

@@itoosoft okay. Thank you for fast answer. Yes, i allready checked bend, slice and bevel, its okay. But issue is still here.i have short spline with a couple of sharp corners.something around 70 degrees.and it looks like railclone trying to create huge array of instances, and as a result i having a problem with maximum number if instances reached.increasing display limits not help much.in this cases mostly i have strong freezes in 3ds max work. Sometimes it crashes 3ds max. When i use splines with 90 degrees , it works fine.railclone can create huge array and everything works well. I'll email you, thanks
