Strava is an integral part of my cycling so glad they keep improving and more than happy to pay to help sustain this fantastic tool. Works out at well under 5% of my annual cycling budget (tyres, bike servicing, consumables, fuel, annual training camp, British cycling membership etc..). @@Guernica-Green I once had a segment with the bike on the car, took me several months before I figured how to delete it, but it was no KOM, 9 riders were faster, because it was 60 km/h -zone and 0,5% down and a road uesed by pro-riders.

Strava Premium needs to add an “equipment” section to Gear so that you can track miles on consumables. With multiple bikes, it’d be great to know how many miles on tires, chains, or even drivetrains.
I’m a road cyclist. Paid Strava subscription. I am considering quitting Strava all together or unfollowing several people. I want to see cycling. However, Strava has become like FaceBook. I even had one guy playing the guitar and posted it on Strava because it was a finger work out! WTF I want to choose which activities go to my feed! Come on Strava, it’s time for this feature.
I've had several days cutting, splitting and stacking wood that are more worthy of a "workout" than some toodle around on a road bike tbh... at the end I was KOM (Knackered Old Man)
I started using ActivityFix to automate a lot of things Strava hasn't implemented yet, I highly recommend it. I also recommend that Strava look at it themselves to see how many features they're missing...
Tag a commute manually? This is the 21st century, why can't we give home and work locations so commutes are auto detected? Maybe we are not sending Strava enough of our hard-earned money.
Valid point, but that's really into smart features / AI. Their website pages take over a second to load each time and that's known to be a trivial web performance topic that they have left since the beginning. Also, when recording with a smartwatch for example, you can use "Bike Commute" profile and strava will mark it as commute when the file is synced from the watch.
Don't mind this as much as them apparently being unwilling to actually do anything with rides tagged as commutes. Would love to get a monthly summary of CO2 saved bike commuting or total stats of how much commuting vs just riding for the sake of it I've done etc but nada
Problem with dark mode is that as you click on notifications they don’t change color from lighter to darker like they do with out dark mode. When you have a lot of notifications is hard to remember where you left off.

Great to be able to see how much carbon you save on commutes but is there any way to measure when you’ve offset the environmental cost of the bike’s manufacturing?
The commute Co2 saved is silly, and the reason I stopped tagging my commutes as such. It's comparing it to if I would have driven, which isn't what I would have done Would have taken the subway if I didn't bike.

Connor’s best efforts - 40km @ 112 km/hr. Amongst others! Nice riding!!

The 100+ kmph average speeds was the first thing I noticed too
