@@77CreationNah. I listened to both versions and couldn’t even make it through Eminem’s. It was too upbeat and it ruined the morbid, dark narration in my opinion. Tori’s is so calm and soothing despite the evil ongoings. To each their own, though.
@squeaksvolumes That was Marshall's intention. This was his fantasy and he was absolutely gleeful at the thought of murdering Kim. Tori's version held up a mirror and suddenly it wasn't so fun anymore. Suddenly, Marshall is an abusive PoS who built his career on humiliating the mother of his child at every opportunity. While we're on the subject "Stan" was a complete cop out and a means of CYA. He only wrote that song because he realized his abuse of Kim was making him look bad.
@@77Creation No, it’s a cool and sweet kinda evil. She touched up on Eminem and Kim’s screwed up relationship (which was/is mutual). Tori was looking out for Hayley with that one. I’m speaking as a huge Tori AND Eminem fan.
This interviewer doesn’t seem have a clue about this song and the impact it had on Tori. He certainly missed the whole vibe she was to introduce him to.
Tori's darker arrangement, tone, and delivery better matches the twisted lyrics and subject matter of murder including their child in the coverup
No, it doesn't. it's just a feminist knee jerk overreaction.

I always thought this song as utterly chilling. It's good to hear Tori talk about it.
Thank you, Tori, for giving Kim a voice.
I love TORI😊
MTV already making review
