It's sad that they denied Joshie he is a minor child he needs his Mother. We all know that you would send him back because he would be illegal in the USA if you kept him there. He based his decision from others who ran off.
What she should have done was when her son file for her she then put his name on that same petition he would have gotten his green card

When filing for parents. I think only the individual can come on the application . Even if your mom and dad is married you have to file their individual petitions. As soon as Donna receives her Resident card she can file for him immediately. By time he is granted the permanent visa she or her kids can provide affidavit of support.
@norma5665 No, my grandmother filed for my mother and my mother send in her documents to the embassy before her interview, she also wrote a letter letting them know that she has two teenagers. They respond to by saying on the day of the interview to let my sisters accompany her with their ID( passport and birth) certificate
