Zeus, zero, the lagoon and ixal fleet are my favorite final boss teams, despite the fact that zeus isn't that strong canonically they stil feel like one of the strongest because of how they where portrayed, it truly felt like raimon had to give it their all to even keep up with them, normally I'm not to big on when the protagonist team suddenly not only matches the opponents but also overpowers them but here it felt different because after all the torture that zeus put them through they still didn't give up and thanks to majin the hand raising everyones morale they where able to overcome the odds and still manage to win somehow, zero is one of my favorite matches because of how the match is structured, while it does start of with the standard losing some points it becomes a back ans forth and raimon even takes the lead at some point, apart from that zero always had a trick up their sleeve, then the final part where they are just enjoying soccer is a nice way to close it off, it truly felt like a movie scale inazuma eleven match, the lagoon is similar to zeus in that they are portrayed as nearly unbeatable but unlike zeus they don't pull a suddenly the characters can match them, throughout the entire match it gave the feeling that chrono storm had to put their blood sweat and tears in to keep up with the lagoon, it also had very good tension given the stakes, every goal that the lagoon made hurt because you knew the consequences of losing, ixal fleet is interesting because most of the team was pretty average except for ozrock who was godlike, what made this match stand out was bolth the brutality such as hitting the earth eleven with the ball and berserk ray, there was also the highest score count for a final match in inazuma eleven history, ixal fleet where a team filled with hatred and you could tell by how they played As for music I can't really choose, inazuma eleven has always had a good soundtrack, but if I had to chose it would be the ones from ares and orion because they just feel the most epic although the zero theme comes pretty close
Yeah I agree with you! Those are my favorite matches too although I actually liked shadow of orion too. It was a nice breath of air since most games in Orion seemed to be pretty easy for Inazuma Japan (expect for Italy).
@@thereversedguy well spain was also pretty hard since they barely tied because of the completely broken goalkeeper, I liked shadow of orion but it would have definitely benefitted them if they had more hissatsu allthough their whole air wave thing was pretty cool as it showed their power of not even needing hissatsu to win, but this isn't exclusive to them, genesis, lunar prime, dragonlink and even ixal fleet also share this problem of only giving a couple players spotlight while the rest barely exist, also nice having a female final villain, the closest we ever got before where bellatrix who was overshadowed by xene, beta who wasn't really a villain and fran who isn't a soccer player(in the movie), the music is also really good especially the ones that play when yurika uses orion cross viper(kind of a wierd name though, I get the orion and the cross since she is part of shadow of orion and the kick forms a cross but where is the viper, maybe they mean something different but I think of snakes when I hear viper), but it is kind of a shame that it also follows the standard having the villains dominate and then making a comeback last second wich has been done to death just like the first they score then we score, but the final shoot chain is one of my favorite moments in inazuma eleven along with saikyou eleven hadou, fei's keshin armed reveal, death drop G3 and shin mach wind shoot chain, fire tornado double drive, majin the hand, wolf legend and omega attack, now that I think about it this franchise has a lot of great moments even in the seasons that are of lower quality, I would also count some character moments but then I would just be listing every scene with zanark, the baran brothers, scoglio, zhao jinyun, dvalin(specifically the dutch version) and midorikawa
@@thereversedguy Spain and Shadow of Orion were already mentioned, but I personally think that Australia and China were challenging as well - Satan had that broken shoot technique of his (Time Trance), plus their cheating strategies gave them the edge, and China was greatly synchronized, talented, and had a lot of unique tactics which pressured Japan. But they did have some weaknesses - Australia had mediocre at best defense (which is a case for... almost all teams in Orion barring Japan, China, Spain, Shadow of Orion, and partially Saudi Arabia and Russia), and with Mark, Dusty and Dave having Asura, scoring was extremely difficult. But still, they knew how to use their advantages
For some reason I haven’t seen anyone mention a certain element of Genesis‘ theme, yes it is mysterious, ominous and dark, but it also portrays this feeling of hoplessness, these aren’t gods you’re fighting, they exceed the level of a god and all you know is that their power is inhuman. The Piano giving this ominous vibe, the strings getting the pure desperation of Raimon jr high across and then finally (in the anime version) the choir giving you the impression that your opponent is out of this world, it’s divine and yet it doesn’t feel like Zeus‘ theme. I absolutely love genesis‘ theme and it’s probably one of my favorite OST out of any anime!

From the original Inazuma eleven final boss themes, The Ogre's theme is probably the most epic. Zeus' theme is the most iconic. Genesis' theme is mysterious and intimidating. Dark Emperors' theme is dark, no pun intended Brings back memories when I play them on DS especially the Ogre battles. I give them a rain of goals because I pretty much collected most of the OP players but at the same time they do the same thing to me because I barely train and power up the GK + I run out of TP all the time even with the burning phase lol

recently remembered this video and got back into thinking about inazuma eleven final boss themes, I like all the different vibes they can give the zeus team is obviously divine sounding but is strangely beautiful, like this team who brutally attack raimon have this gorgeous divine sounding music, but I guess that does kinda fit how the see themselves(especially byron/aphrodi), they see themselves as these graceful gods when really they are monsters genesis has this mysterious alien energy to it, not much more to say though it is also really good at making you think they are the final boss the dark emperors theme sounds sorta desperate fitting as in the anime they seem to have near infinite stamina and it is a hard fought battle little gigant, so I have a bit of an issue as someone who watched the anime first as this causes me to associate this theme with space penguin, to be honest it feels a bit to dramatic for little gigant as they are one of the only final boss teams to not have any evil intentions, they aren't rude and the stakes for losing aren't that big, yeah I'm not that big on season 3 as I never understood the hype, the theme fits dramatic moments like space penguin but not so much a theme like little gigant is it just me or is the dark angels missing, like weren't they also I final boss, I'm not a huge dark angels fan or anything nor did I play that game but aren't they also a final boss team ogre definitely has one of the most sinister sounding themes, like these guys aren't here to play soccer but to destroy you, there is actual malice behind their plays, it really gives of the vibes of a more evil team like ogre dragonlink, once again I associate this theme more with ozrock's second stargazer but I do think the fact they had a full team of keshin users was scary enough to warrant such an imposing theme zero really gives off that grandiose feeling of the ultimate team and battling an opponent much more powerful then you, the movie version also gives me chills everytime the part comes up were hakuryuu does white breath, that finisher and then complete silence afterwards was truly a movie moment, though honestly that movie was peak inazuma eleven, great animation, characters, story, music, everything really the lagoon theme definitely has that grandious factor and almost sounds beautiful, it doesn't even really sound villanous to be honest wich is fitting since saru doesn't see himself as a villain, the second stage christmas think of themselves as underdogs rising up against there oppressors so the fact it portrays the grandiose feeling without being villanous is very well done, I could listen to it for hours though that's not just because I like chrono stone my favorite season is og S2 to make it clear destrutchers is epic movie theme, what more can be said, I like the strikers theme a bit more wich is just the chaos meteor theme from the movie since it really imbodies that despair that fran is feeling(remember the asta from destrutchers was created by fran and follows her will) ixal fleet goes in the complete opposite direction of the lagoon, I like to see ixal fleet as the ultimate villain team though that might be controversial, think about it though, they are one of the few were you can't blame their actions on an adult manipulating them, they also don't have any kind of good intentions like the lagoon or team ogre were yeah they were wrong but in their minds they were the good guys, ixal fleet also aren't litterally demons like makai gundan Z, so they are completely responsible for their actions, they just want petty revenge, they are just a sinister team filled with hatred all around wich is portrayed in their kit, theme and playstyle lunar prime academy, well it is a good theme but I honestly find the match to be the least memorable final match in the series, look I'm really trying to be unbiased but neither season 3 nor ares ever clicked with me so I can't really say anything that isn't lying shadow of orion once again sounds very sinister but I also like the sorta orchestral sound as it kinda ties back to the special tactic wind thing they had going on were they named it musical things like concerto and prelude, it also gives of that these children have been brainwashed to only care about winning vibe very well I'm not a music analyst or anything but I did want to give my takes on the final boss themes, sorry I couldn't say anything positive about S3 or ares, I don't hate them or anything I'm just kinda indifferent to them were I not actively angry while watching it but they are not seasons I like to go back to very often as I find them kinda boring except for some very select few moments
That's a very interesting analysis! I didn't include the dark angels because I didn't find a song that was kinda exclusive to them. Also, if I included them, I should have included Chaos, the Excellar and Space Rankers (the double teams from the games)
@@thereversedguy fair, I guess they moreso fall under post game teams, excellar despite being one of the worst handled double teams does have a really cool theme, either way music ads a lot to media, I wouldn't remember white breath as much as I do if the music during both uses didn't give me chills everytime

It's sad for Shadow of Orion : this team had no build up thorough the story but has a better theme than Outei Tsukinomiya (that i think sound kinda bland compared to the others).

I think Shuu (because of what happened to his sister) and Ozrock (well his entire planet and almost all of his race got obliterated) were the most tragic.

Im still hyped but i also feel bad for people who want galaxy. I also hate it cos i want destructors captain and of course the great zanark.

I'd say final confrontation is my favourite but it's really hard to decide between that one, phase 3.. and maybe hoshi no shito. For sure I know that my least favourite is shadow of orion followed by the team zero ones
sorta like that one competition route in chrono stone(there's probably also one on galaxy but I have very little knowledge about that game), though I think they would have to change the order a bit, having lunar prime as the second to last just doesn't feel right, if I were to choose my order would probably go something like zeus - dragonlink - lunar prime - genesis - dark emperors - little gigant - dark angel - shadow of orion - team ogre - destruchers - zero - the lagoon - the excalur - ixal fleet - space rankers(if they even remember they exist) - (whatever the final boss team for victory road is, I mean it just makes sense to close of with the new final boss team), just a rough order though, not really based on how much I like them(maybe a little bit) but sorta an order that progresses in terms of scale going from the season 1 teams to true final bosses, I do hope victory road has galaxy characters wich would technically be their first official appearance in an english game

the zeus team is obviously divine sounding but is strangely beautiful, like this team who brutally attack raimon have this gorgeous divine sounding music, but I guess that does kinda fit how the see themselves(especially byron/aphrodi), they see themselves as these graceful gods when really they are monsters
genesis has this mysterious alien energy to it, not much more to say though it is also really good at making you think they are the final boss
the dark emperors theme sounds sorta desperate fitting as in the anime they seem to have near infinite stamina and it is a hard fought battle
little gigant, so I have a bit of an issue as someone who watched the anime first as this causes me to associate this theme with space penguin, to be honest it feels a bit to dramatic for little gigant as they are one of the only final boss teams to not have any evil intentions, they aren't rude and the stakes for losing aren't that big, yeah I'm not that big on season 3 as I never understood the hype, the theme fits dramatic moments like space penguin but not so much a theme like little gigant
is it just me or is the dark angels missing, like weren't they also I final boss, I'm not a huge dark angels fan or anything nor did I play that game but aren't they also a final boss
team ogre definitely has one of the most sinister sounding themes, like these guys aren't here to play soccer but to destroy you, there is actual malice behind their plays, it really gives of the vibes of a more evil team like ogre
dragonlink, once again I associate this theme more with ozrock's second stargazer but I do think the fact they had a full team of keshin users was scary enough to warrant such an imposing theme
zero really gives off that grandiose feeling of the ultimate team and battling an opponent much more powerful then you, the movie version also gives me chills everytime the part comes up were hakuryuu does white breath, that finisher and then complete silence afterwards was truly a movie moment, though honestly that movie was peak inazuma eleven, great animation, characters, story, music, everything really
the lagoon theme definitely has that grandious factor and almost sounds beautiful, it doesn't even really sound villanous to be honest wich is fitting since saru doesn't see himself as a villain, the second stage christmas think of themselves as underdogs rising up against there oppressors so the fact it portrays the grandiose feeling without being villanous is very well done, I could listen to it for hours though that's not just because I like chrono stone my favorite season is og S2 to make it clear
destrutchers is epic movie theme, what more can be said, I like the strikers theme a bit more wich is just the chaos meteor theme from the movie since it really imbodies that despair that fran is feeling(remember the asta from destrutchers was created by fran and follows her will)
ixal fleet goes in the complete opposite direction of the lagoon, I like to see ixal fleet as the ultimate villain team though that might be controversial, think about it though, they are one of the few were you can't blame their actions on an adult manipulating them, they also don't have any kind of good intentions like the lagoon or team ogre were yeah they were wrong but in their minds they were the good guys, ixal fleet also aren't litterally demons like makai gundan Z, so they are completely responsible for their actions, they just want petty revenge, they are just a sinister team filled with hatred all around wich is portrayed in their kit, theme and playstyle
lunar prime academy, well it is a good theme but I honestly find the match to be the least memorable final match in the series, look I'm really trying to be unbiased but neither season 3 nor ares ever clicked with me so I can't really say anything that isn't lying
shadow of orion once again sounds very sinister but I also like the sorta orchestral sound as it kinda ties back to the special tactic wind thing they had going on were they named it musical things like concerto and prelude, it also gives of that these children have been brainwashed to only care about winning vibe very well
I'm not a music analyst or anything but I did want to give my takes on the final boss themes, sorry I couldn't say anything positive about S3 or ares, I don't hate them or anything I'm just kinda indifferent to them were I not actively angry while watching it but they are not seasons I like to go back to very often as I find them kinda boring except for some very select few moments
That's a very interesting analysis! I didn't include the dark angels because I didn't find a song that was kinda exclusive to them. Also, if I included them, I should have included Chaos, the Excellar and Space Rankers (the double teams from the games)
@@thereversedguy fair, I guess they moreso fall under post game teams, excellar despite being one of the worst handled double teams does have a really cool theme, either way music ads a lot to media, I wouldn't remember white breath as much as I do if the music during both uses didn't give me chills everytime

It's sad for Shadow of Orion : this team had no build up thorough the story but has a better theme than Outei Tsukinomiya (that i think sound kinda bland compared to the others).

I think Shuu (because of what happened to his sister) and Ozrock (well his entire planet and almost all of his race got obliterated) were the most tragic.

sorta like that one competition route in chrono stone(there's probably also one on galaxy but I have very little knowledge about that game), though I think they would have to change the order a bit, having lunar prime as the second to last just doesn't feel right, if I were to choose my order would probably go something like zeus - dragonlink - lunar prime - genesis - dark emperors - little gigant - dark angel - shadow of orion - team ogre - destruchers - zero - the lagoon - the excalur - ixal fleet - space rankers(if they even remember they exist) - (whatever the final boss team for victory road is, I mean it just makes sense to close of with the new final boss team), just a rough order though, not really based on how much I like them(maybe a little bit) but sorta an order that progresses in terms of scale going from the season 1 teams to true final bosses, I do hope victory road has galaxy characters wich would technically be their first official appearance in an english game
