Kraken VESLA 5 SBK: Unboxing and Upgrades

Kraken RC released the original VESLA.5 a couple years ago. I was, essentially, based on the HPI Baja 5B, although it used a completely different cage & body panel design. As I understand it (my 'understanding' could be incorrect), even the transmission was a direct part-for-part copy of the Baja 5B's transmission. As with the original Baja 5B, the VESLA.5 was only available as an RTR. Then, having made numerous changes, including a completely new, in-house-designed, transmission, Kraken RC released the V2...but, it was still only available as an RTR.
The thing is, Kraken RC listens to their customers, and among the things customers said they would REALLY like to see was a kit version. After all, HPI had returned, and they had even released the Baja 5B in kit form, as the Baja 5B SBK (gas version) & Baja 5B Flux SBK (electric version). So, Kraken RC decided to do the same, offering (for the first production run) 20 gas kits, and 20 electric kits. They even named them 'SBK'. Having been lucky enough to have obtained one of the electric versions, I present to you the first unboxing video of the Kraken VESLA.5 SBK...plus a little "bonus"...followed by coverage of the upgrades that will be installed during 'Phase 1' of the upgrading.
Also, my apologies for "cutting my head off" during the 'unboxing' portion of the video. I didn't realize I had the camera set too low, until after filming was complete...and, by that time, it's too late (this was a "one shot" take).
