- In Today’s Video see me create a beautiful effect in my Aqua Cast water based eco resin by painting pigment powder onto the mould first. With some eco resins this technique doesn’t work so I am pleased to say it does with Aqua Cast! I will create two gorgeous rose shaped candle jars. Enjoy the video!
Thank you for watching and helping me to INNOVATE, INVENT and INSPIRE.

That mold is beautiful!! Thank you so much for showing us these!! Your two-tone coloration gave it so much depth! Such a great job!!
Sounds like high school - abubble party under the ridge!
Those colours are so soft and pretty together. ❤
Love, love these! Those colours were one of my mothers fav in roses, thank you this video brought back some lovely memories of her and her flowers!
I’m so glad you like them and it sounds like your mum would have done too. Thank you for your lovely comment❤️
Love them. I have to admit I am hooked on aqua cast I absolutly love it. ❤❤❤❤
These molds turned out beautiful! And the colours are just perfect!

Oh, wow! I was not sure about the colors but you nailed them! These are gorgeous! Thank you! 🌷🧡
Thank you so much!
They are just stunning Louise
❤❤❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous Lou. The colours remind me of the miss piggy rose which was my dad’s funeral flower. I love these molds sooooooo much! You are such a talented woman. Your results are always so very professional xxx
Oh She’ll, I can always count on you to put a smile on my face. Thank you dear friend xxx
These rose candle jars are so beautiful Ms Louise 😍
Thank you! 🤗
I ordered the same molds a couple of days ago. I cannot wait! They came out stunning😍
So pretty! I love both of them. 💖💖💖💖💖
Hi Louise, these are just lovely! I agree with you that the stripe down the side of that one jar really doesn't add to it. In fact I found it distracting, but those lids are stunning. Thank you for another great tutorial.
Thanks so much 😊
Hi Louise such beautiful moulds , they turned out gorgeous 😍 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Thank you Michelle ❤️❤️
Stunning roses!
Those are absolutely beautiful! I really love the colors you used!
Thank you so much!
I’m so glad you found Boowan Nicole molds. I just opened my box yesterday and made one of the cars that are planters. It turned out so so cute. I bought several so I will make a few more today. Then I put another order in for more 🤣🤣🤣
They are so addictive aren’t they! I love how their moulds are so unique.
Thank you Louise! 💐What beautiful moulds! The colours are gorgeous! The Aquacast gods were looking down on you.☺️🫶🏻
Thank you so much Sue, yes I was really happy with how the roses turned out ❤️
What is surprise! I get online and there’s an extra video today.😁😁😁
What a pretty mold and result. I always appreciate that you show the human trial and error and crafts. A lot of artists don’t like to admit those. Thanks again for the surprise, you made my day.
Aw thank you ever so much, I think the mistakes really help people and just like you, most people appreciate it which is great, it makes my life easier! 🤣
I love jars.. and these are stunning ❤❤❤❤
Stunning Jars 🤩 Love the molds 😍
Thanks so much 😊
I agree with you. I use Mix2Mold It's the same thing as Aquacast, more or less. I love my Mix2Mold better than resin now. I love the rose jars!
They are both gorgeous 🥰 thank you for the info on the wax sealer I agree you probably wouldn't need it inside since you will be adding wax inside. Great video!
The roses are beautiful, Louise! It’s good to know that AquaCast picks up the color. 👏🏻 You made me laugh with the “bubble party” remark. 🤣 seriously, these came out stunning! 😁🌺🌼
Gorgeous colors!!
Beautiful - and also my fave colour of rose :)
Thank you very much ❤️
Lovely jars!
Love these
I have that mold but I haven’t used it yet. Yours are beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
What a lovely surprise...bonus video! 😊❤
I love roses, and these colors are also my favorite in a rose! 😊😍 Wonderful molds, aren't they? BEAUTIFUL candle jars, Louise! 💕🤗👍
Thank you my lovely. Yes they are gorgeous moulds and such great quality ❤️
Beautiful 😊❤
Thank you! 😊
I think they are beautiful Louise, you did a wonderful job. Must have been meant to be, to show us both. Thank you Louise x❤😊
Thanks so much 😊
lovely!!! xo
Thank you ❤️
Those are ever so pretty! Thanks for showing them. I do agree that the powder in the bottom section wasn't quite what might have been hoped for: and I was anxious to see that result because most of my molds are jar like and vase like and I'd love to carry out precisely what you tried. Watching you made me think: could a different application help? Maybe something like an eye shadow brush (more of a pad than a brush)? It might soften the application and create more shading?
I think, if I remember, I'll take a hike over to the pharmacy this weekend and see what I can find to play with.
I like your ideas, yes I think the brush was a mistake but in a way I’m glad it happens because my mistakes help other people so much. Let me know if you find a better way ( the sponge applicator sounds like a great idea!)
@@LouiseSingletonCreations Thanks! My experiment's going to have to wait: fell into a busy weekend. But excited to try it.
Failures teach: one of my favorite stories is about Edison trying and failing to create the lightbulb. Eventually someone asked him if he wasn't tired after failing a hundred times. He replied: "I haven't failed: I've discovered a hundred ways how not to create a lightbulb." I don't know if it's a true story, but it's a good one.
@@melenatorr I love that story! I hope it’s true, I really want it to be 😁
@@LouiseSingletonCreations I do too!
And I tried it out: fairly happy with what I did, though it needs some practice: I tried out mica powder applied to the inside of two molds using an eyeshadow brush, one a smooth mold and one with ridges. The ridges have a lot of tiny bubbles, and I had to sand down the lip, but the smooth one came out pretty well, though I need to practice applying it nicely all the way around. I did post a couple of photos of the results on my TH-cam channel, and with your permission, I can share the link.
❤❤❤
Hi Louise, your love for aqua cast has rubbed off on me, I love it, I have just received my 10 Kg bucket of it, I just want to sit and make jars, and I even bought wax pellets to make candles, these moulds are beautiful, one little question does the mica powder come off the jar onto your hands, or is it colour fast on the jar ? Xx Looking forward to your next video xx
Thank you so much, I hope you have lots of fun with your Aqua Cast. No the powder doesn’t seem to come off and if you seal it that will be even better.
How long did it take for your moulds to be delivered . They are stunning. I used your discount code for aqua cast today thank you
👌🏻❤
Hi Louise, these are gorgeous. I love the colours. I love watching all your demos.h I'm new to aquacast and was wondering if you can put permanent vinyl on the cured project and do you need to seal it? TIA x
Hi, thank you very much, I will be honest, I haven’t tried it but my guess is that it would stick to Aqua Cast. You might need to seal it with Hydroflow sealer first though.
Thank you very much
Well, when using a jar as a vessel for candles/wax, it is automatically waxed inside...
Yes that’s right. I wax the outside and usually use Hydroflow sealer on the inside.
Soooo beautiful!!❤ you don't happen to know if this is available in the states?
If you mean the moulds, yes it’s free worldwide shipping and if you mean the Aqua Cast that is also available in the states (link in the video description)
@@LouiseSingletonCreations thank you so much!!♥️
You may have commented on this subject before but I curious to the sturdiness of the Agua Cast. On the screen it appears to be fragile and would shatter if accidentally dropped to the floor. Is it?
Hi Norma. I wouldn’t say it is fragile and it wouldn’t shatter like ceramic but it would get damaged if it had a hard fall.
What ratio did you use if I may ask?
What kind of wax do you use?
Clarks Wax for stone and concrete
I finally found you and followed you on instagram! I don’t use the platform often enough but I’m now following you. AND Nicholemould ❤
Thank you very much for that, I have to confess that I’m not a big Instagram user but I do try.
