The girl and her mother are both gone
Great film. ✌️ From Australia. Showing the Mum always slightly removed from her daughter (both cutting food with backs to each other & when girl sits at table, both have backs to each other as mother goes through box on floor)for eg's, was clever. 🙂

Reminded me of a brain eating amoeba prions that one gets from swimming in warm freshwater lakes. I mean this is the horror concept that I’ve seen in this film about a parasite doing bizarre things to the brain.

that was messed up I loved it, well done to everyone involved in this production.
The mum feels a stinging jab in her back, turns around and sees her daughter holding a knife towards her who then tells her she's schitzing/tripping out and scared because she doesn't know what's real anymore......and the mum tells her to go eat her sandwich😕?! Yeah....nope. I'd have my daughter in a Dr's chair ASAP. Obviously something isn't right.
Edit - That poor train driver☹️. Also, the spot she was swimming in was gorgeous🥰

How did the aluminum foil just appear on the top of the wine bottle midway through her sentence???
Like it was pretty clear the writers/director didn't intentionally insert a time gap (via cutting to a different shot). They made it seem that, mid-sentence from Mom, the aluminum foil just appears out of nowhere.
I love that she thought she was laying in the bed but in fact it is the rail track..

alright, who snuck the wad of aluminum foil onto the wine mid scene?!?
Nice job. :) But i think after swimming in contaminated water, mistaking wine for water and stabbing me in the back, I would be arranging for medical help instead of just sending her to her room. Such casual reactions aren't very believable (just a personal pet peeve) which is disappointing.

Is no one going to point out that as she walked back from the lake, she had a towel in her possession. Gets to gate. Has towel on her. Walks across grass, and it is nowhere to be seen. Gets to porch, and towel miraculously appears again?!🤔

Moral of the story, stay out of water if does not look like it is clear. Those little burgers can crawl right into your pee hole and your poopy hole. And a person wouldn't give it a first look at them entering in this way through the body.
