Thank you for that. The Mountains have certainly been the centre of my universe for close on 80 years now. I'm now beyond venturing into the sort of area you show here but this brings back memories.
Can I just give a hint about travelling by train. Sitting on the upper deck, left hand side each way, gives the best views. On the way west, you get to look into many of the valleys going south. Heading back to Sydney, the view is across the ranges towards Mt Hay.
