This is one of the most common certs in the IT world, and it can be crucial to setting you up for a networking career.

      There's no guarantee that your QoS-marked VoIP data will be carried over the internet on a soft pillow unless you pay protection money to the ISP (see CCNA topic 4.5a - MPLS).

    that's not my experience. If you're good, your co-workers will take advantage of that, and start to pretend you do more for the same salary. Also some people are super good at making you work or do their research instead of them doing it. The better the job the more people are going to go cut-throat for it.
