Hello Sir, thank you for sharing this clever strategy to sync the two. I was able to slow the video to follow the steps to successfully setup the bi-directional sync. Thank you so much for helping out. I look forward to more of your valuable video that I (not a coder) can understand. I just tested and this is just absolutely life-altering. I am just awestruck by how this works--wow! Thank you so much Sir.
Thank you so much! Your videos have been so helpful. I find them to be the clearest and most succinct explanations on obsidian/zotero. Thank you for your hard work and when you get time, please make more videos:)
Hello Sir, I have problem, since sometimes I add the paper directly from the website to zotero, I don't have the file in the folder. Is the only way is to save the pdf file ?
Thanks a lot for the video. I could upload the library but when I press control shift E and select an article nothing happens. Can you please help me through it ??
Thank you for your video. When I generate the note on Obsidian, however, the bidirectional link does not work. It simple spits out a string of Zotero://select/items... that is not clickable. Any idea where I am going wrong?
I have exported the json file from Zotero and put it into the Obsidian folder. I can see the My Library.json file in the folder. I have enabled the citation plugin, but I´m not able to set the citation database path. Have tried to do as in the video with the folder name path, but it continues to write "the citation export file cannot be found, please check the path above. When I type in the path, no suggestions are presented. I have tried to restart my mac, but it does not resolve the problem. Do you have any suggestions what I´m doing wrong?
Ok. Think I figured it out. It´s important that the folder has the exact same name as in this video "Literature Note" and that it´s not rooted in other folders
Update: I found I was wrong. The sync automatically updates the library accessible via Obsidian. When I added a few sources, they were easily accessed in Obsidian immediately. So easy and smart method! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I use iOS and placed the export of my Zotero library in my Obsidian vault in my iCloud. I presume we need to manually export the Zotero library as we update it? That worked for me but maybe there's a way to set Zotero library to automatically update. I looked at so many videos but Dr. Das's method is the most efficient and effective way to integrate Zotero and obsidian.
This is exactly the connection I've been looking for between Zotero and Obsidian. Thank you so much for the guidance on how to set it up!

I am happy that it worked for you. I will make a slower version of it soon. Finally thank you for your appreciation.

@@ShuvangkarDas Do you know how to connect university library to zotero for closed-access pdf download automatically?

This looks interesting, but it's too fast to follow. (For me, anyway) Or write down the steps somewhere. (Have you written them down somewhere?)
Thanks for your honest opinion. I will definitely make another video on it at a slower pace.
Cools ... Thank You
