Frog Legs rag was the second most sold ragtime piece of all time, selling over 1 million copies in just a few years. Right behind Maple Leaf Rag which sold several million. Frog Legs was what put James Scott in the spot light, being dubbed the “Little Professor”, do to his small stature and being a musical genius.
Thats a fun one,- I'd say it is actually easier than it seems to be, so I can just motivate to give it a try - as long as the precision is there the tempo will follow along!
I think i've been subscribed for over a year now and the first video I watched was James Scott's Ophelia Rag. Now roughly a year later, another masterpiece by James Scott in the form of the Frog Legs Rag. Thanks for this amazing synthesia and here's to many more 👍
Efficiecy rag ranks 1st place for me in the category of scott but this is high the list to ive also noticed its similarities to mlr( maple leaf rag) he must have admired joplin very much just like me❤😂
Thank you for your great work! However I think there is a mistake at the end of the first section (around 20 seconds) : on the sheets I have found it is a E and not Eb on the GDbE chord. Or maybe there are different variants of this piece?
