Thanks for watching! You need not remember everything, feel free to replay this video as and when you need to. I’ve had the Velar for a couple of years now, and I still believe there’s more to learn about it!
Thanks for the compliments and you needn't remember all the tips, stay tuned in to LordTechPro and head to the description and pick a chapter to get information on how a certain feature is operated!
Bro I have a quick question . I just got a 2019 velar r dynamic , it didn’t come with air suspension, it used multi links at the rear , I noticed my rear suspension is lifted higher than normal for some reason i don’t know , is there a way to bring it down ? Note: it doesn’t use air suspension
My Velar is also on coil/steel springs and the rear suspension is slightly higher than the front, i.e the gap between the wheel and the wheel arches is more at the rear. If the difference between the front and rear suspension height is more than an inch or two, it is best to get the issue checked by a mechanic. The shock absorbers might have gone (due to hitting a pothole etc) on the front, which may have caused the front end to sag.
Thanks for watching! Part 2 of the Range Rover Velar Hidden Features series includes the operation of the interior lighting: th-cam.com/video/ViXIVbPoHt0/w-d-xo.html
On the the top display screen, I may have accidentally removed the amount of miles until E at the bottom of the screen. How do I get it back to display at the bottom?
Yes it does, the HSE trim level (which is the top trim level) has massaging seats, and they were an optional extra on the SE trims as well. The Velar in this video is an R-Dynamic S trim, so it doesn’t get massaging seats.
Hello, when i am changing miles into kilometers on dashboard only needle miles change but l the electric miles stays and doesnt change into kilometers, could you tell me how to fix it?
Here’s what I got from chatGPT: To put a 2022 Range Rover Velar in maintenance mode for a brake change, follow these steps to retract the electronic parking brake (EPB): 1. Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. 2. Press and hold the accelerator and the brake pedal simultaneously. 3. Operate the EPB switch: Pull and hold the electronic parking brake switch in the release position. 4. Wait for a message: After a few seconds, a maintenance mode message should appear on the dashboard or the instrument cluster. 5. Release the EPB: Once the message confirms that the EPB is deactivated and the brakes are in maintenance mode, you can proceed with your brake change. 6. Switch off the ignition: After maintenance mode is activated. After the brake work is complete, reverse the process to exit maintenance mode and re-engage the electronic parking brake.
It depends on the trim level, mine is a Velar D180 S R-Dynamic. These are the available trim levels: Velar, S, SE, HSE. The digital drivers display is standard on SE and HSE models, and an optional extra on the S and entry level Velar. The 360 degree parking sensors are standard for the S and above trims. The four zone climate control is part of a “climate pack” (which includes the rear climate controls and the cooled glovebox ) is an optional extra on all models, so is the rear seat power recline, the rear seat USB ports and the split folding seat release levers in the boot (however most Velar’s have these specced in varying versions). Also, the Terrain Response 2 system which includes the Auto terrain response mode and the All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) is an optional extra, but most models from SE and above have it. The electrically operated steering wheel column is an optional extra, which is standard only on the HSE trim (and some SE trims). Adaptive dampers are part of a dynamic pack, but are standard on all Air-Suspension equipped Velars (S,SE and HSE), and are available on select coil spring Velars. The (openable) panoramic sunroof is an optional extra on all trim levels, and only HSE (and few SE) models come standard with a moonroof (fixed pane full length glass)
Heated and cooled seats were an optional extra on the base and S models, while SE and HSE got heated seats as standard, with cooled seats being optional on the SE trim
@@ZvicerianiMason44 No, this isn't a BMW the seats do not have the hardware for heating and cooling in them unless it was optioned from the factory. If at all you needed to program the seats, you would have to replace the seats with ones which have the heating element and the ventilation fan inside, then one would have to try and program the lower screen to work with the new seats. If you find a way to program them, please feel free to share!
Well technically it’s a Tata since 2008 because Ford sold JLR to Tata Motors in 2008, and they stopped using Ford derived motors and platforms on all their cars sometime in 2019 the only Ford part on the Velar is the Ford Escort window switch button used to control the reclining seats for the second row, that’s it. The Velar is built on the D7-A all aluminium platform which is a completely bespoke JLR platform with no roots to Ford, and the new all aluminium ingenium engines are also not related to Ford

Great video, amazing car, and i like how you added the original land rover background music.
What can I say, Land Rover makes some incredibly (R)dynamic soundtracks. I appreciate your kind words and thank you for watching!
Your best video yet - learnt a couple more tips if I can remember them!

Doesn’t have heated seats? Ty
It does come with heated seats, it’s optional on the Velar and Velar S trims and standard on the Velar SE and Velar HSE trims.
I'm watching over and over again till my Range rover feel like a Nokia 3310
That’s a good one 😂, thanks for watching and increasing this video’s watch time!
On the the top display screen, I may have accidentally removed the amount of miles until E at the bottom of the screen. How do I get it back to display at the bottom?
There is a silver button at the end of the left/indicator stalk, press it until you gets the miles to empty back
Thank you!
Does the velar have a seat massage feature?
Yes it does, the HSE trim level (which is the top trim level) has massaging seats, and they were an optional extra on the SE trims as well. The Velar in this video is an R-Dynamic S trim, so it doesn’t get massaging seats.

This is the R-Dynamic trim in Silicon Silver colour with Narvik Black Contrast roof and 20” gloss black 7 spoke alloy wheels
Does 2018 have most of these features

High insurance costs. £3,500 pounds.
That's unfortunate, thankfully it costs nowhere near that amount in countries outside of the UK
