Nothing like adding a hurdy-gurdy (the instrument with the crank) to metal. A Great band overall and I can offer up some suggestions on similar-sounding bands.
Nice reaction. Eluveitie (El-Vay-Tee, the "u" is silent) are a Swiss band (and one of my favourite bands). They play Celtic Folk Metal using whistles (tin whistle, low whistle, NOT flutes), fiddle, bagpipe, harp, mandola, bodhran and hurdy gurdy. Their style is a combination of melodic Death Metal and Celtic Folk. Their main theme is Celtic history and culture from the antiquity. The Celts lived all over Europe, not just Britain or Ireland. Celtic culture just survived longer there because the tribes lived on Islands and could not subdued by the Romans who almost eradicated all Celtic culture on the european continent. "Gauls" was the Roman name for all Celtic tribes that lived north of the Alps (especially France). Eluveitie mostly sing of the celtic tribe of the Helvetii who lived in the area of todays Switzerland, southern Germany and western Austria and was the first tribe that came under pressure when the Roman Empire started its expansion north and when the Gallic Wars (around 60-54 B.C.) started. The hurdy gurdy is not a celtic instrument and actually originated in Persia (I think). You could check out the channel of Eluveities hurdy gurdist Michalina Malisz th-cam.com/video/QfP2qYlNBdw/w-d-xo.html . But PLEASE stay away from her playthroughs or her early Eluveitie covers that she had done before she was asked to join the band. There the full song is played in the background and Michalina plays the gurdy to it. But you could check her "5riffs" series where she plays 5 riffs from famous bands (like Black Sabbath or Iron Maiden) on the hurdy gurdy. She has done a great cover of "Martyr" by August burns Red too th-cam.com/video/Mvs39ZeQjq4/w-d-xo.html . The band had a lot of line-up changes during the years, the most impactful in 2016, when the previous female vocalist/hurdy gurdist Anna Murphy and two other members left the band and founded a new band (Cellar Darling, check them out). Some songs you could react to are: "Breathe", "Ambiramus", "King", "The Slumber", "Worship", "Deathwalker" (live from Wacken 2019), "Tegernako" (live at Summerbreeze 2008), "Thousandfold", "Call of the Mountains", "A Rose for Epona", or "Quoth the Raven" (video recorded in the studio). From their acoustic songs I would recommend "Omnos", "Brictom", "Lugus", "Caturix" or "Epona" (with Gaulish and English lyrics, at the end of this video there is a little explanation who Epona was). "Omnos" and "Brictom" are from "Evocation I:The Arcane dominion" while "Lugus", "Caturix" and "Epona" are from "Evocation II: Pantheon". Both albums are more focussed on the Folk part of their style. On these two albums the songs are sung in Gaulish, the extinct (since 500 AD) language of the continental Celts that could be reconstructed by using inscripions found at archeological sites from all over Europe. There is also an interview with Christian "Chrigel" Glanzmann (founder, male vocalist) and Fabienne Erni (female vocalist) which they did for the podcast of a vocal coach: th-cam.com/video/y14pAyoAiIM/w-d-xo.html . Fabienne and Guitarist Jonas Wolf also have a side project called "Illumishade" thats worth checking out.
We have a winner ✌. Live on stage : they rock ( only seen them twice - very recent ) . only knows the band for 3 or 4 years. Illumishade : voice from an angel 😍
The Hurdy-Gurdy (the cranked string instrument you were dialed in on) sounds amazing by itself too. They typically have several drone strings while the melody is carried by other stings controlled by the keyboard. It winds up sounding like a fiddle and some bagpipes had a baby.
My Favorite songs Eluveitie: Uis Elveti, Your Gaulish War, Gray Sublime Archon, Omnos (Early metal version), Andro, Setlon, Carnutian Forest, Rose for Epona.
Eluveitie from Switzerland 🇨🇭💪this Band is so talented and the Singer Chrigel is amazing 👌👏👏🤘the Hurdy-Gurdy Girl is cool....like this Band and more to come 😍💋

Dude , first time seeing live , I went too see for Amaranthe ( support group) I was at the back of the room ( Trix in Belgium) And I was literally BLOWN AWAY. The energy on stage , so much happening. Unbeliveble. Second time I saw the band ,blown away again. But I prefer the recent songs ( let's say the ones with Fabienne). But " call of the mountains" and some others are MUST LIKE. Best live performance along with Powerwolf for my own experience.
God I love seeing reaction videos, especially to more off the wall things like this. First time I heard this and the flute solo came on I lost my shit too
If this didn't blow your mind Omnia will. Omnia is a folk metal band too. They include harp, flute, violin, didgeridoo and more. where eluveitie has more of a Celtic sound omnia has more of a pagan inspired sound to them. Omnia is definitely worth checking out
You should check out a band called dead by april, the band mixes popy vocals with a good amount of screams, and to be honest there the only band I know of that does it very well. The songs I recommend are, I cant breathe, breaking point, freeze frame, as a butterfly, and playing with fire
You should dive into this weirdly awesome metal sub genres like folk metal (eluveite, Ensiferum), pirate metal (Alestrom) and viking metal (Amon Amarth). Trust me, you won’t be disappointed 😉🤘

New sub to the channel, loving your reactions from FFAK. With how you were diggin this track, I think you'd probably enjoy Brothers of Metal. They're an 8-piece (3 vocalists, 3 guitarists, 1 bass, 1 drummer) Norse Power Metal band from Sweden. Their album from last year, Emblas Saga is absolutely amazing and their last album Prophecy of Ragnarök is awesome as well. If I had to recommend tracks to start you off, I'd say go with Powersnake, Hel, and Emblas Saga (title track).
