Mowing with Nova BCRI-200

Mowing weeds with Nova-Tractor BCRI-200 Heavy Duty Ditch Mower. Tractor being used is our New Holland Powerstar 65.

I know this is an older video but any issues or anything with this mower? We just bought a neglected 10 acre property and are looking at the 180 size of this ditch mower because there are several hundred feet of creek and fence lines. I’ve been debating whether to get the ditch and bank one or hydraulic side shift. Currently the creek is overgrown and we’d have to remove a bunch of trees and overgrowth to take advantage of the bank mower

Are these mowers made in China? The reason I’m asking is I live in Australia and would like to buy a mower like this one. However Nova mowers are not sold in Australia. Other mowers made in China are sold in Australia. They look similar and I suspect they are basically the same.

Good mower. This will be 3rd year with it. No problems so far.

I have a creek, with steep walls. I mow the pasture, and wish to knock down all the overgrowth, at those edges. Will this unit extend far enough out to keep the tractor from those steep creek walls?

It's meant to do that yes but it depends on how sof your banks are. I think it goes 60 degrees down?

What size tractor do you have ? I have a 55 hp but the 3 point is cat 1. And you have to have cat 2 for that mower.

We have new holland powerstar 65. So it's about same hp. But you don't have to have cat 2. It can hook to cat 1 also.
