Two things I’ll be doing going forward with mixing: 1) Highpass the low end elements (bass, kick, sub, etc) at 20Hz; this won’t drastically effect my sound much, but it will allow the low end elements to be “felt” more 2) Sidechain reverb on main leads; this will enhance the clarity of the leads when I don’t desire a washed out sound
No problem! I’m planning on making a comprehensive Hardwave sound design tutorial in hopefully the next week, I’ll have a new FREE preset pack out by then probably as well
@@itzvizion I think about melodies in terms of intervals; if you can familiarize yourself with the sounds of different intervals, you’ll be able to easily make melodies like the melodies of your favorite producers

@@orbys3728 I use a mix of drums from Cymatics, Slate Digital, and Sample Focus. I also grabbed a bunch of trance and Hardwave drums from Splice but I haven’t really used those, at least not yet, but I’ve found you can get away with just using a bunch of samples from Cymatics free packs and then the Slate Digital RnB pack. Sample Focus is good for looking for specific sounds you might be missing, also for Phonk samples sample focus is really good
You are in luck! I should be making a tutorial on lead sound design soon, and I will have a new free presets pack with 60 presets (the previous 40 updated to sound better + 20 new ones). It might be a week or so but it is on its way 😉
I just tested the download gate and was able to download the ZIP file, did it go somewhere else on your computer? You could also try refreshing the page to see if that helps. Let me know if you are able to download the pack!
@@fedos545 that is so strange, I tested the link just yesterday and did all of the download steps and the ZIP downloaded just fine; I wonder why it is doing that. Maybe try it again after closing and refreshing your browser? If it still doesn’t work, the good news is I’ll have that particular pack updated with my next song release (that free pack has 60 presets and 10 bonus samples) so maybe you’ll have more luck with that? I am wondering, are you on Mac or Windows?
I custom made the vocal for the track, some I recorded with my own voice, the others I used TTSMP3 to write text to speech vocals and then processed them in FL For the Phonk acapellas, I’ve found Sample Focus is really good Hope that helps!
