@@lotsofoptimism Schlatt covered My Way and it's really good. I'd suggest watching his announcement of it too it's pretty interesting. And they made (technically hired people to make) a bunch of royalty free music together, including some classical and some animal crossing inspired.
The amusing thing is that Jschlatt and Ludwig both conceived identical ideas and flawlessly executed them with pitch-perfect precision.

I don't think it was malicious. Just an honest statement based on logic. He is an American now. The average American doesn't speak french, or any other language except spanish sometimes. Spanish might help, but if the average American only knows English, they might be more likely to pronounce the words more wrong than someone who is used to speaking a language in a more similar class, like French, possibly. I'm no linguist.
I've been in music for 10 years and have never seen a engineer and producer having a good day at the same time.

I noticed that when it comes to singing it's generally easier to fake knowing a language since accents aren't as noticeable, but some sounds are difficult to replicate if your first language doesn't have anything similar sounding

Honestly, Ludwig should do more where he learns different stuff. I'm not an average Ludwig viewer, but often when I do see him I have noticed he is quite the quick learner and it is always fun to watch people who are good at learning learn stuff.

In this case though it wasn't exactly the same cheating or scamming stuff. He just showed off an "AI COVER" but actually it was just him who had spent the past few weeks learning to sing it just to trick people into thinking it's AI. That's dedication.

I like this trend of content creators (Schlatt, Ludwig, etc.) trying to beat AI with the sheer power of human will, determination, and overcoming the anxiety of learning and honing new skills. I feel like it's the biggest stand against AI, maybe not in a technical sense but in a metaphorical sense.
AI covers and AI generative content stems mostly from people trying to explore the options of what if's and the resignation that it can only be made through AI (not to mention, quickly too) since the likelihood of these actual people doing these activities and singing these songs and saying certain things, is very low.
Now that real people are doing the human and admirable thing of stepping beyond their tropes and what is expected of them, as well as rediscovering and re-exploring old interests and potential skills to create profoundly beautiful things, it feels so refreshingly human and incredible. I don't care if people think it's not that deep. It feels remarkable and I admire these content creators for stepping up to the plate and showing everyone that the human spirit is unbeatable.

as a music major that loves singing opera music and is pretty good at it. I loved this video so much. remind me of my first time singing for my instructor in college, and i think if ludwig learned how to open up his rib cage for more open effortless singing it wouldnt be to bad at all. props to lud. if he learned proper technique i think he would be amazing, after all ive heard much worse voices get a very strong and effortless opera tone after just 3 years of singing and practice
