But Matt Short, you're still paying the whole 300k straight up!
If you start a Rogers example, 117k. Thats 180k needed next week. But you're backing Rogers to score 60 over two games and Short to drop 15-25k.
So, because I've kept the 180k in the bank, specifically for this reason. We pick up Short in round 2, for theoretically cheeper. And possibly had a higher scoring player, who made money also, straight to Short R2!
Anyway, that's what I'm looking at doing.

Thats a lot of cash left in the bank that could be used to make cash but also your missing the point that you have another 120k guy maybe say Milne who potentially doesn't outscore Short over 1 game and thus you have potentially kept cash in the bank all for less points and maybe 10k cash generation/cash loss mitigation.
Like for Short to drop 15k he has to score 50 in the first game.

@kybroome which still means you don't have Short for the double in round 2. Which is my point!
This way, you get a cheaper version, and have a VC on Short in R2!

And if Short goes more than 100 say 120-140, you either have to go without Short or have to tear up your team in a sub optimal way to get him. Basically season relies solely on Short scoring what you project. I ain't taking that much risk for one guy

@kybroome so, what sort of score would leave me out? He would need in excess of 110 for one game.
Basically, it's not I taking the risk on the one guy!

Would kill your game off if Short went 140 as he would go up 12k
