The Gan12 I barely changed any of the settings, they're putting them where most people want them anyway.
The 356 X took the most to dial is, since then they've been getting closer and closer out of the box.
Although I can't tell from a vid but it was reminding of the smoother nature of their older cubes and was it quiter?
Their newer cubes have gotten rather noisey, I think the 356 X is still their quietest.

I have yet to buy a cube that doesn’t just have a screw and it’s so damn freeing. Not having to worry about 8 billion settings is amazing. I’ve swapped springs on some of them but the only thing I did to my main(yj zhilong) was some lube and break in with some tensioning. Once the scratchy feel went away it’s a fantastic size and I never have to worry about anything. It’s still getting me 13 second solves

Also I’m glad GAN cubes don’t have adjustable edge magnets anymore because the plastic covers over the adjustable magnets on the XS loved to break with normal use, causing the magnet to fall out.
I like this better than any modern cube (within the gan I like moyu cubes) but going below modern cube era I like the 356 line and the new 356 maglev kinda nice
If it's a good puzzle then it all comes down to it's prize and how does it perform in comparison to the new emerging speed cubes like the Tornado V3.
It's from Gan13 line, i don't even expect it to come below $60 or even $65 as the Gan13Maglev is $78 something itself.
(I remember that gan 11m pro came out for $64-65 but the 11m duo came out for around $47)
FX sounds like the right version for me (the simpler the better), except I would prefer UV coated...

For us in Canada the Gan 13 UV is 120$ and the Gan 13 fx is 100$ on SCS.insane.

@@barrosinci always bought my cubes from aliexpress, its way cheaper and is probably as reliable as other cubing websites if you buy it from a great store with great ratings. ill be buying a gan 13 fx in a few weeks and i might main it because my tornado v3 is kinda really slow and takes my energy away quickly, and my wrm 2021 maglev is really really fast and uncontrolable sometimes, i might just need to set them up but ill be buying the gan 13 fx anyway as i only got the tornado v3, wrm 2021 maglev, gan 356M and the YLM 3x3 M in my collection, but i really dont know if its better than the gan 12 or gan 11 m pro

Actually, no UV coating is the biggest downside of this cube for me. I'm a fan of the UV coating. Everything should be UV coated lol.
Is uv coating really that good?
@@mynameisnonofyourconcern9715 it's subjective of course. I love it. It's more glossy than regular glossy cubes, and the cube also looks and feels as if it's glazed. It's a bit more rounded, so to say.

64g is pretty light. $67, hmm. Don't know. I like the GAN 12, and even the GAN 11, better than the GAN 13, so far. I'll have to wait on it.

Auto align is fake news, if you use enough silicone lube that the cube isn’t totally dry after an average of 12 the auto alignment completely disappears
