Great to see RA3 alive and kicking in 2020. It's giving me something to look forward too while I'm stuck in quarantine basically.
Lictor and Dimon are like the dynamic duo here in this series, Lictor hanging on by the skin of his teeth for Dimon to pull the win with the Shogun Battleships was freaking epic.
Anyone else excited for the Corona mod for RA3 (yes its really called that)

@Soma Néo Saki In Red Alert, there's no such thing as family friendly.
love those side cams that show other areas of the frontline. your casting interface in general is very nice with unintrusive nameplates and nice transitions.
I don't always catch it, but I like to highlight stuff that I missed the first time around.
I prefer when stuff is quick and minimal, so I'm glad you enjoy that too.
@@OneSybert my favorite moment that was side-lighted (the name I came up with) was when the sudden transport brought an engineer to cap the sup-reactor, which is evil.
Also: Dimon has now been playing Empire for a really long time, so it's not really an off race for him :) He doesn't like playing mirror matches, so he chooses either Soviets or Empire, depending on what faction his opponent is playing.

@@OneSybert My pleasure! If I recall correctly, Deep.D.Fantasy also played as kkkaaaooo for a while. These guys are basically the best, active players in Red Alert 3 now.

Dimon and Lictor seem to be occuring faces in the cybert 2.0 timeline, they had a rivalry but then set their differences aside to try beat a larger threat of the pikalibra forces
They are recurring faces, but there are some videos coming up without either of them.

Personally I would prefer your equal splitting of videos. I have time restrictions and I may not be able to watch an entire 2 hour video in 1 go, I'd rather split them into 2 parts or more so I have a little bit of something to enjoy my nights with. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm loving every bit of it and I don't want to stop. You don't know how much it means to me to see you back and just remember some of the games you have casted and the immense enjoyment I had with your commentary. And btw, you're still as awesome, I find myself laughing at your jokes continuously and I'm having a blast with your videos. Thanks for coming back
Out of curiosity, what is the ideal length for you?
@@OneSybert 20-40 minutes. Although since I can't get enough, an hour is also great. Anything more though would be too much to handle at one go.

Seriously, there is no limit to how OP allies get to be. And they were enough of gentlemen to not go full hell on the cryo play on these matches.
I wish they get nerf them in the next community patch.

Hi, IDK if you did this back in the old videos, but great job at showing us what happened when you couldn't cast everything/see everything(like the engeeners in the first game)
I do it in some. When I know I missed something I'll go back and catch it, but I don't always realize.
I don't mind a 2 hour long video, but I don't NEED it either.
Love a video of an hour over one of 20 minutes tho.

I would love to see you jump into generals (as a new subscriber who only saw your content a week ago), but you do whatever you want as your still getting the groove of things even though your already doing a good job casting
I feel like generals is considered as an entirely different part of C&C simply because of the story of the game...
I'll probably jump into Generals/ZH at some point, but I'm much less aware of those games. I enjoy them, but I'm worse at casting them.

To answer your question: If I had to chose, then I 'd prefer casts of 20-40min.
If there are still old Vindies matches in the archives, I'd love to see another.. just an idea
Does anyone know a similar game with the same type of micro play?
People always talk about War Craft 3 being very micro focused, but I never played it.
At some point I'll probably look for some old Vindies games, but right now there are too many recent replays.

Definitely sybert if you wanna split up the videos even more I wouldn't mind or care. Either way I'm watching. I totally understand the rendering stuff and the time it takes so if it's easier for you do it. The end result is the same for us. Maybe do a playlist to keep them together which I'm sure you do anyway.
just realized that Allied doesn't even need it's tier 2 main battle tank to hold the line. so many times I forgot the existence of guardian tank in Allied arsenal
There are some builds that use the Guardian tank, but mostly for it's laser lock.
I am pretty sure hostile hostel wasn't in the beta. I believe we had 2 2v2maps. One of them what this Rush-heavy map where all four players start on the same small island in the middle. I remember the 5-minutes victories from stingray rushes ^^ as well as the buffed shoguns on a map where everything is in range of water. Fun times, I think they may have actually removed that map, or just no one ever plays it.
The other one being the map with the airfield in the middle with a lake around it, that's still being played.
Roundhouse Redux was the rush heavy one. Don't remember for sure the other.

@@OneSybert why people rush by infantry, why they make X minions, what they plan to do, what they try to do by backlining something, etc...
I'm fan of C&C series, but not a good player.
Infantry in good numbers and in the hands of a good player can be very deadly. Players may be getting a lot of infantry to try and overwhelm their opponents or to act as a deterrent from attack. Some players will try and run by infantry to avoid having to fight them directly.

hey sybert have you seen the red alert 3 corona mod which is like a total conversion mod that adds china as a playable faction and overhauls all the other factions as well? (no its not a joke, the name of it is just a coincidence)
I had not heard about that mod until two weeks ago and now lots of people have told me about it.
Yo how about some modded casted matches? Like for real man you and General are literally the best casters for RA3 and I've been DYING to see modded RA3 casting!!!

Empire + Allies is a strong combination, while allies plus soviet is also a strong combination but empire can easily harass them and empire is stronger in early game especially with a good micro player and a sneaky player like what dimon did in 1st game
Any chance move to Uprising? Would love to see the Giga Fortress!
I don't plan on playing single player and since Uprising doesn't support multiplayer someone would need to play some games with a mod of RA 3.

Do community have patch update for this game? Is Empire still brokenly underpowered vs allied air like how they were left off the last time?
Community patch mostly just fixes bugs. The balance is left the same as base 1.12 (AFAIK). There are some mods/patches that try to rebalance the game, but I don't know if any are particularly good or popular.

Nope, played on the regular version of the game. I interpolate the footage up to 60 FPS in the edit.

Probably not, but what would you like to see? Campaigns or Commander's Challenge? Or do you mean you want to see 1v1s using an Uprising mod for RA 3?

its basically the same game but with different maps and more units, i think it will add some new strategies and in the end more interesting gameplay

@@urirachmani972 Uprising doesn't have multiplayer support which means the only way to play against someone else is a mod for RA 3. I don't have any sick reps from people playing the mod.
